Isn't methadone an Opiate?? It may work but you will still get withdrawl symptoms
My brother in law was prescribed and took methadone while he was battling cancer. He passed away so I don't know of any withdrawals but he often experienced the opiate "nodding off" throughout the day. He couldn't go an hour without falling asleep. He was on a pretty heavy dose. He missed out on so much.
I am sorry to hear of the pain that you guys are experiencing.

My son was sweet enough to give me his cold so I have been very lethargic this week and might break down and get some Sudafed. Word has it that it is good stuff. I guess if it is good enough for meth heads, it should be good for my cold.

I love all of the photos that have been posted of Jimmy but I have a hard time finding him "hot" when he was dying his hair and it was short. He looked a lot like my dad and that is a bit creepy. Sorry.
Are there any photos of him at the Rolling Stones concert from this past Sunday?

Hell yeah!! Ordered the Blu Ray with the bonus DVD. I think this is the first Blu Ray I have purchased. Usually they are too expensive for regular movies... Until the Dark Knight Rises is released. THAT is a keeper.

I am over the moon because today is the last day of the school week for my boys and we get to sleep in during a five day weekend. And I am drinking strong coffee which always puts me in a good mood.

Thank you all for he kind words regarding my husband. He is getting stronger and better every day.
That is what is making me happy today. That and getting a pedicure. Sooooo relaxing.

My husband is coming home from the hospital after being there for 9 days. He had a stroke but he has a good prognosis and only being 39, that will be an advantage in his recovery.

Kiwi, I am truly sorry to hear about the student at your university. I hope that the school does provide council for those who are in need and form a support group for students to go to if they feel suicide is the only choice. Don't beat yourself up for not understanding why this student choose to end his life and in such a public way. Just understand that whatever pain he was in must have been a huge burden. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and all that loved him...and to you too Kiwi.

Nearly three years ago Jimmy stated he wanted to revisit the digital transfers of the tapes. Remastered vinyl releases are possible, the release of new cd box sets for each album in 2013 has been confirmed.
Remastered vinyl release of all the albums is my dream. I just don't want him to sell them at $40 a pop.

I see Corby refers to an old Marshall Major 200 amp Page acquired from Jimi Hendrix...I find that interesting as according to Jimmy he only saw Hendrix momentarily in a NY club (they did not converse) not long before he passed away. So the mystery becomes how and
when did he acquire that amp "from Hendrix"?
Maybe Jimmy bought it from Hendrix's family after his death?

I wish i could scream out "Not a god damn thing!" But sadly I have a list of errands and things to do around the house. Maybe I will crank up Celebration Day and annoy my elderly neighbors and my husband.
