Living in the Eastern most province in Canada, I always have to fly everywhere to see mainstream concerts. Cancellation is always my biggest fear because I invest a lot of money on return flights and hotels, as well as time off from work. I have been lucky so far. I only had 1 concert cancellation (Lenny Kravitz, luckily in my hometown so I had no travel expenses) and 1 postponed (Led Zeppelin at the O2 in 2007, in which I paid dearly for flight/hotel changes, which was soooo worth it.)

We have had nothing but rain, drizzle and fog for the last 5 days. The month of October is not starting off good.

I was just wandering in the downtown section of my city here in Atlantic Canada. We have a street here called George Street, which has the second largest amount of pubs/club/bars on one street (other than Bourbon Street in New Orleans). Several time a year certain festival are held where the street is closed to traffic (pedestrians only) and drinking occurs on the street. I just happen to be there 2 weeks and there was a Bid Light Lime Festival where there were several bands playing, the most notable was THE TREWS (a band from Nova Scotia, Canada). Very good band and they put on a great show as usual (seen them 4 times already).
