  1. Me too! I actually started a thread a few years back asking about it, but nobody came forward..... you would think those guys that are featured on TSRTS, etc would still be fans! ????

That would awesome to hear from them on this forum! From TSRTS, I would love to hear from the couple shown during SIBLY and the girl with the blue eyeshadow. They are iconic parts of the film (to me)!

  2. Thanks Ddladner!

You don't know how many times I walked past that box on the bookshelf and reached for it! I saw several of the pics on line, but it's not the same. Even the cheaper version is gorgeous and exceeded my expectations.

The concert trip itself was quite thye story - from trying to get a ticket, re-doing all travel plans when the date changed, an ice storm that delayed my flight leaving the States, getting held up at night in London on a side street..........it was quite the adventure. But worth every cent and every hassle!

Perseverance pays off! And now, as you mentioned, you are forever immortalized in Jimmy Page's beautiful book, in a photo that he selected! Yes, I'd say that made you happy today!!

  3. Just got my copy of the Jimmy Page photo autobiography yesterday. I bought the original Genesis one when it came out, but never opened the box to keep the value of it. I've been dying to see the pictures, and when the second generation version came out, I ordered that one too.

I was pleasantly shocked when I opened up the cheaper version last night. The two page picture at the O2 of the band facing Jason. shows the front row of fans. I was VERY pleased to see myself in that photo. Left side of the photo, second row holding up the American flag!

I am forever immortalized with my favorite band!! :hurrah::hurrah::hurrah:

Very cool! I always wonder who the fans in the audience are, what stories they have and where they are now. Lucky you! Btw, you have a lot of will power not to open the original, I would have to open it to see and touch every page!

  4. ^^^ Your first pic looks like it's from TSRTS, and that's where my first Jimmy pics are from. There are so many great shots of Jimmy from TSRTS, one of my favorites is my profile pic, another is the one below. He plays with so much passion, so glad it was captured on film!

  5. I think my wife picks out the kind she likes and hopes we don't get too many customers.

She likes Reese's but I do not.

I also buy what I like in case there are leftovers. Only the good stuff (snickers, m&ms, butterfinger, Reese's, kit kat, Hershey minis). We don't get as many T-O-Ts as we used to, but still enough for me to buy many bags of candy, and I like to hand out lots.

I can't imagine anyone not loving Reese's...really!! I don't think anyone matches that awesome combination as well as Reese's does. Remember the old commercial when the man walking with the chocolate bar bumps into the lady with the peanut butter...and history was made!? :D

  6. How cool is that, WLL4LZ!!! I wouldn't see anything like that where I live, the most common animal near the roads here are deer, and there are plenty of those to see! The most unusual animal I've seen while riding down the road was howler monkeys in a mango tree in Costa Rica.

  7. Had a meeting to get to a few days ago, had drive from Cow Bay into Halifax and stopped to capture a quick moment. There is something about living somewhere that October can be seen I rather enjoy which others just don't get it.

Beautiful, CJW! October is one of my most favorite months, and while the weather is gorgeous this time of year where I live, unfortunately due to the mild weather, we get very few of the awesome colors. This is often a month we choose to travel, just to see those beautiful colors. It is quite an amazing site, lucky you to wake up to that outside your home!
