  1. Here's another one where the sound isn't the best, but the performance is a MUST HEAR.
  2. Obviously the sound quality of audience recordings varies wildly, but myself and many others here will agree some of the best boots are audience recordings! IMO you get a more natural, ambient sound, the sound has room to breathe. Soundboards can be a bit flat. You know about the Mike Millard tapes, right? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Millard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Listen_to_This_Eddie The 1979 Copenhagen shows are great ones as well. It can take a while to develop 'bootleg ears' when it comes to audience recordings, but you should seek out some of the better ones, you're missing out if you don't! Cheers!
  3. Right. Also, doesn't that stuff get old after a while? Seems like kind of a novelty.
  4. They played 5 shows in Japan in 71 and 6 in 72, most of which were some of their best ever. Also this:
  5. Hush-Pretty Good Women from Tokyo-I always thought this was Blue Oyster Cult Perfect Strangers and Knocking at My Back Door-80's cheese others-That organ gets kinda old... Yes, but the Yardbirds were formed before DP. BS DP and LZ IMO are all great bands, but its funny how some cannot accept that DP is more popular in some parts of the world Yes. I never said they were a bad band, just not as good as Zep or Sabbath. It's funny how some people cannot accept that this is a forum where people give their opinions.
  6. There's a few other good ones, not as many as Zep and Sabbath though IMO.
  7. What about Paranoid, Children of the Grave, Supernaut, Hole in the Sky, Symptom of the Universe?
  8. Eh, they have a handful of good songs. Take away Child in Time, Highway Star, and Black Night and what's left? Smoke on the Water? Pretty slim pickins IMO. Also, aren't they quoted somewhere as saying the reason they started playing hard rock/metal was Zeppelin?
