  1. Steve, can you post the article (or pm me if you want me to translate it first)?
  2. Couldn't find the Patty Rose review, but I did find this review from the May 1985 issue of Creem (and it's equally negative):
  3. Steve, I came across this quote from Stevie Winwood today: http://www.winwoodfans.com/articles/musician.htm Any background info on this? I know there are recordings of Babe I'm Gonna Leave You that supposedly have Winwood on them but is this what Stevie was talking about?
  4. Firm-era article from Musician magazine (late 1984 or early 1985 - not sure what month):
  5. Here are two that I haven't seen anywhere else yet. From Jan 17, 1967 in Singapore where they played a show with the Walkers Brothers at the National Theatre.
  6. Thanks Swandown. Are any of these available as soundtracks - or can they only be heard by watching the films? Where is Four Minute Warning originally from (Scream for Help?)?
  7. Scanning the IMDB site I noticed that JPJ has been involved in several movie soundtracks over the years: Scream for Help (1984) - composer/performer For All Mankind (1989) - writer/performer of "4 minute warning" The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb (1993) - theme composer Risk (1994) - composer Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist (2008) - writer of "Fever" I've heard the soundtrack for Scream for Help, but not the others. Are any of the others available, has anyone heard them?
  8. Pretty sure it's not Micky Waller, but it could be his replacement Tony Newman:
  9. I know nothing about UK geography, or the education system but Google does... There is still a Walsall College: http://www.walcat.ac.uk/contact-us/ and one of it's locations is in West Midlands. Plant could have been referring to this place when talking of a West Midlands college. Steve, how can you be sure about the address that you have? I can't imagine anyone specifiying the address in an interview...
  10. Found this on the Brumbeat site: http://www.brumbeat.net/letters1.htm
  11. If you check this link, it seems to back up the claim with details from one of the members: http://www.brumbeat.net/senators.htm
  12. That Brumbeat link provides a few juicy tidbits: And one of the earliest photos of John Bonham that I've ever seen:
