  1. I saw them during the POKR tour, the were quite good back then. They were huge here in the states from the mid to late seventies.
  2. The Red And The Black - Iron Maiden
  3. Crying In The Rain - Whitesnake
  4. The Southern Harmony is my fave album by them, such a solid sophomore effort. I never did see them live, but I did see the Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes tour - it was quite a night.
  5. I Can't Drive 55 - Sammy Hagar
  6. They were one of the most popular bands in the mid 70's.
  7. Blame It On Me - The Last In Line
  8. Rock You Like A Hurricane - Das Scorpions
  9. I do like many of the bands from this era, but this is not one of them. The orig guitar player, I think it was Warren Dimartini had some good chops, but to me their songs felt empty. Perhaps it's the vocals, or perhaps they just aren't very good.
  10. I did enjoy the MK III version, I can see why some people would be annoyed with GH, but you also have to remember he was pretty young back then. I don't think it bugged the band, or they would have reeled him in. I also agree, that he still has good range, a rareity for a veteran singer nowadays.
  11. For Whom the Bell Tolls - Metallica
  12. Last I checked, Glenn Hughes is not in Deep Purple.
  13. Since You've Been Gone - Rainbow
  14. Child In Time is one of their bests, it's too bad that Gillan doesn't have that range anymore.
  15. Saw Tesla, Feb 1, amazing show & got to meet the band, how cool is that?
  16. The Thing That Should Never Be - Metallica
  17. I think we can agree that some fantastic music was made with the original Alice Cooper Group.
