  1. Same Old Song and Dance - Aerosmith
  2. I do like the Doors music, but not so much the live tracks. When Jim starts rambling on about something, wrecks it for me. Maybe I'm getting old, who knows. I can equate to any other artist, who at some point in the song, usually the chorus, decides the audience needs to sing along, while it may be cool if you are there, that also wrecks the song for me. I agree that Ray Manzarek was as important to the group. I heard a few interviews with him over the years, a really intelligent guy, worth trying to find those interviews.
  3. The Show Must Go On - Three Dog Night
  4. Crappy, very bad wind chills, low expected around zero tonight, high about 5 tomorrow.
  5. Our song will be Thank You, as that was our wedding song. The Mrs. will be with me. We will bring a bottle of Cabo Wabo tequila with us to share, we will make sure that Mr. Jones has a shot or 2 with us. For the evening's entertainment we have somehow convinced Sammy & The Circle to perform, hearing great Zep, Sammy, Montrose, & Van Halen tracks. Wishing all of us, a joyous holiday season.
  6. Why Can't This Be Love - Van Halen
  7. Sammy Hagar & The Circle (Jason on drums) - Last summer, was quite a rockin' event.
  8. Down By The River - Neil Young
  9. The Electric Church dvd looks promising.
  10. It was IV as well for me, we heard it in my friend's brother's car, on the pink 8-Track, i don't recall where we were going, but this just blew me away.
  11. We are going to have to agree to disagree.
  12. I do agree that the CP project was the best of anyone's venture outside of Zep. I also have to say anything that Percy put out, is not very good, just sounds like watered down Zep tracks to me.
  13. We have tix to see them when they return early next year, great band, got lumped in with a bunch of weaker bands from that era.
  14. Demartini can play, but is just in the wrong place. I do enjoy this kind of music, laugh if you want, however not this band.
  15. It's too bad they didn't have a date in our area, I would have seriously considered going.
  16. While I think Burn is a great album, Machine Head is better, IMHO. Can't go wrong either way.
  17. To me, it wasn't AC/DC anymore, once Bon passed.
