Can someone please recommend a good CD compilation for the works of Mozart?

I am looking for a compilation that houses just his piano based, violin based and orchestra work. No opera music, please!

    Thanks! :)

I have no answer to your question. IMO the Amadeus soundtrack is the best compilation of Mozart's work - but it contains opera and choir music.
And I think that Sir Neville Mariner's and Sir Colin Davis interpretations are always worth a listening.

The recording of the Symphonies 21-41 by Josef Krips with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam is quite famous.
    I like it very much:

A steaming hot bowl of excellent home made Minestrone soup. A sourdough roll to dip which was fucking horrible. Should have plumped for a traditional crusty soup roll.

What a pitty. Sourdough rye is my favorite bread. This evening we are going to have a classical home made chicken soup.

    Thanks for posting this!

This news is affecting me quite deeply, as I grew up listening to The Cranberries.

I'm also sad. That album meant a lot to me. Her voice was so very strong, the acoustic guitar parts are so beautiful and the lyrics are so well.

No need to argue came out when I was almost 30. It was the time that I really grew up and became a stronger person. And this album fittet so perfectly to me at the time.
