  1. I'm a Rolling Stones fan since 1978. Favorite album: Sticky Fingers. In 1982 I saw the Stones live. I was so excited for weeks before the show. But the Stones were awful.

Around 1981/82 I bought The Song Remains the Same on vinyl - because (and please don't slaughter me for that!) there was no Greatest Hits record and it was the only album with STH and WLL on it.
And even though seventies Rock music is my favorite Pop/Rock music genre and I like the music from that era very much, I never got much into Led Zeppelin music. Until ...

I watched It might get Loud on television in spring 2016. The next day I searched Led Zeppelin on youtube. The first video I watched was How many more times from the Danish televison show. I was blown away. Incredible. This massive energy from the song really got me. The third or forth song I klicked on YT was Since I've been loving you - and I was really hooked.

I would like to thank all members who post on "What show or live song are you listening to now?". That's such a great thread.
So, I'm listening my way through the LZ concerts. What a great discovery!

Many greetings from a town Led Zeppelin visited twice

  2. In a Peak village like the one in the picture you posted last week? Wow, that's fantastic. And a lot of space to breathe, I suppose.

We are cyclists, too. The biggest advantage of living in a big city is that we don't need a car. I use carsharing (is it called car club in the UK?) for 15 years now.

I love cycling along our canal, the River Rhine, but mostly it's a Tour de France feeling with hundreds of other cyclists around ...

    Have a nice excessive weekend.

For your information Led. It is also the most visited National Park in Europe. The other weekend we had dinner and cocktails in Manchester and went for a walk in our local area on Sunday. I love that we can do this.

It looks like Rohan, very nice. Seems like a great region for hiking. And the Bakewell pudding looks quite tasty.

If that is your house Led, it looks fantastic

No, it's not our house. We took a trip to the countryside on saturday and it's just me in front of a typical slate house in my home region.

I liked your pictures from the Peak very much. Never heard of that region.

  5. World Cup 2018 teams:

Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia and Uruguay.

But a World Cup without Italy is not complete.

Thanks for posting this!  Fantastic stuff.  I see on YouTube that they have a new album out in 2017 and it is also very good.

Smokyhead is a nice album (the YouTuber calls himself The Bong Druid of Mammoth Weed Mountain :hysterical:)

But This Is Our Culture has the perfect groove. Driving Under The Influence Of Jams is also very nice

I've listened to this album several times and I love it! I love the tone of the guitar and the floating of the music. It's the perfect chill out music for me - I get into a really good mood immediately. Thanks for posting, Kiwi

$5 to $20 a bottle is my usual buy when it comes to wine. Although I will go as high as $50 or $60 for certain vintages...but I usually try to suss out a good bargain before the prices go up.

    I'm addicted to these.

Danish Kringle - hm ... yummy. Velbekomme!

I absolutely love any kind of Danish cakes. My favorite kage is Dagmartærte. I took a look at the ohdanishbakery.com and I think they call Dagmartærte Seven Sisters.

Denmark: endless, uncrowded fine sand beaches, cakes & Porse Snaps and you know what "hygge" means :)
