Saw Cloverfield tonight. So-so. Cloverfield and 27 dresses will be the top 2 movies at the box office this weekend. The lineups for both films were insane. and they both sold out quickly.

I am going to the movies with a couple buddies. I LOVE going to the movies. That is making me happy today.

Don't get me wrong. Other than Michael Cera i think all the performances are great. Ellen Page is a great actress, Jason Bateman and Jennifer garner all do a great job. Garner does such a great job playing the type of woman i can't stand that she had me hated her character.lol But i think the guys are portrayed badly.

No, because he alllows himself to be walked all over. I don't have a narrowminded idea about what makes a man a man. Hell, i am the one that's been called less than a man for not approaching women. I just don't think anyone should be treated and taken for granted like he is. She even admits she was treating him badly. I think if the roles were reversed and it was a guy treating the girl badly opinions would be different.

Sam, she is not his girlfriend. But you don't allow someone to treat you like crap. Have you seen the movie?

They weren't a couple. They were never boyfriend and girlfriend. They had sex one time. And she wasn't just getting hormonal. Juno was a mouthy unfriendly girl before she got pregnant. That was part of her personality. She was constantly shutting him out and treating him badly. He tells her he wants them to be a couple and she tells him to look elsewhere and then when he does she goes off on him. She treats him like a punching bag for most of the movie. No way i would put up with that. I would support the baby if she was gonna keep it but that's it i would be done with her.

I agree that teenage boys have their insecurities. Trust me, i remember clearly some of my bad times as a teenager. They still stick with me now. But Cera was too much of a sissy in this movie. The only thing i didn't like about Bateman's character is that he is whipped. Even Juno points this out when Bateman tells her that his wife "allows" him to have his own room for his music stuff. Allows him! Not good.

Getting call display on my cell phone. I avoided 4 people i didn't want to talk to today. Gold, baby, Gold!!!

Don't worry Kissandra, you can still enjoy the film knowing that.

Cera is portrayed badly because he is portrayed as a wimp. When he tells her she is beautiful it's like he is about to cry. I wanted to puke. And Juno treats him badly thoughout most of the movie and he puts up with it. A guy with balls wouldn't have put up with her crap and would have told her to take a hike. I actually liked Jason Bateman's character. I didn't think he was a bad guy but the movie was portraying him as one.

I feel sorry for these guys actually. If balding wasn't looked at as unattractive they wouldn't have to wear the damn things. I would say Nick has the worse ones. They look like birds nests on his head.

Is it a chick flick? Friends have been trying to get me to see it. I think Kiera Knightly is hot but i don't want to be seeing anymore chick flicks. I had my fill with 27 dresses.

Well i also think Katherine Hiegal is pretty most of the time and she did a good job in Knocked Up. So... If there had not been an actress in it that i liked or thought was hot i probably would not have gone.

I got a free pass to it. I would not have paid to see it. 95% of the audience were women and they were all "awwww" ing and by the end some were crying. It was too much to stomach.lol

Really?, i wouldn't think a guy would like it. The movie is anti male for the most part. All the guys are either portrayed as selfish and immature (Jason Bateman) or just a wimp (Michael Cera). The writer seems to have a real hate on for men.

That movie Bombed Hard. It could barely make 10 million. And that poster didn't help. Joh C Reilly can't draw people to the movies on his own. He is too unappealing.

It was in one of those british music magazines. I am not kidding. That's what she said. Another interesting thing she mentioned is that The Elvis Presley estate has sort of taken them under their wing and gives Janie and company advice on what to do and what not to do when it comes to Handling Jimi. She says they have been a lot of help.

I saw Juno Last night. It was an alright film. Women will like it more than guys. It has a sissy element to it. There were some women in the audience crying during the film.Ugh. A few complaints.. The lead character is "Juno" played by Ellen Page. She plays a 16 year old girl who gets pregnant and who decides to give the baby to a couple played by Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner. The dialogue by this 16 year old character is just too unrealistic for a 16 year old. She talks like a woman in her thirties. Some of the things this girl says is too unbelievable. She references Soupy Sales for crying out loud. I dare you to find a 16 year old girl who is familiar with Soupy Sales!!!!!!! That's the problem with a lot of the dialogue in this movie. People just don't talk like that. The dialogue gets too clever for it's own good. Michael Cera pretty much plays the same character he played in Superbad. The Wimpy, awkward, nerd. This guy has no acting range. But amazingly the Ellen Page character hooks up with him. Not realistic. On the good side Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner do a good job. Garner plays the woman who Juno is going to give the baby to. Her character wants a baby so bad that it's pathetic and Garner conveys that well. It's still an amusing film though.
