  1. This gave me a chuckle......

Here's a true story told to me recently by someone who knows.

Noel Gallagher was in Harrods a while back and as he was shopping he bumped into Jimmy Page. Both were unaccompanied. They got to chatting when a group of Japanese tourists looked over and got rather excited. They walked over and asked if they could have some pictures. Noel and Jimmy being good sports said of course. One of the group came over and gave the camera to Jimmy and asked him to take the pictures. They didn't recognise him. All of the pictures were taken by Jimmy of Noel and the Japanese tourists. When the Japanese people were done they said their thank yous and went on their way. Noel went back to Jimmy and apologised saying he felt embarrassed. Jimmy said "It's OK I cut their heads off in every shot."

    You're welcome, I x

Derby day tonight. COME ON EVERTON. No predictions from me, Anything can happen.

No prediction here either, I would of course prefer a Liverpool win but who wants to put the mockers on it. I'll be listening to the commentary on BBC Radio Merseyside then watching the highlights on MOTD later tonight.

why is there a Donald Trump hat in that photo what id that supposed to represent?  and the Brexit thing too btw, both Brexit and  Trump were positive things and having that in a sad picture about all of those famous people who died this year just seems disrespectful to those people in my opinion.

Lack of respect ? Depends which way one voted, anyway don't take things so seriously man

They are getting waxed to the tune of 2-0 to Stoke.  I had a small parlay on Leisester and Manchester United.  Up in Flames.  I assume Vardy is still there?  He is quite a striker.  Love him.  No doubt will make the World Cup team?    I am off Leicester now after seeing this score.  I see Chrystal Palace has played pretty well of late. They could be a sleeper?

Chrystal Palace, a sleeper ? highly doubtful. This season I think will be taken probably by Chelsea but with Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City in there with a chance, Those teams will most likely be the top four finishers. But there are six months of the season left so who knows..

Actually, we grew up calling it Footie or Football - soccer was a North American media thing

Footie or Football it most definitely is, but try telling that to a citizen of the USA they can't seem to accept that the game they play is a bastardised version of the English game Rugby, they even play with the same egg shaped object that has no resemblance to a ball which I always thought was round.

OK wise guy.  Its SOCCER.   So what is going on with Leicester City?

Leicester were a flash in the pan, they had a run of good luck for that one season, they are unlikely to ever repeat that good form that took them to last seasons title win.

They are of course still doing well in the European Champions League at the moment, can't see the winning that one though..

A couple of other ex Premier League teams have had similar runs of good fortune just like Leicester did and then after soon disappeared into lower league obscurity. Nottingham Forrest and Blackburn Rovers both had that flash in the pan luck that Leicester have had.

It's a funny old game is Football..

The new series The Exorcist. Do yourselves a favour people. Good little series.

When the Exorcist was first released in 1973 there was so much hyperbole one would have expected to have been scared shitless.     Quite the opposite actually, there were some good effects (for the time) but scary it most definitely was not. ....

I used to put my dads Zeppelin records on when he went to the ASDA .  He had 1 to 4 on vinyl . I made sure I put them back as if nothing had happened, just before he was due back. This would have been about 25 years ago . I remember trying to explain to my class mates what I'd discovered but at that time I couldn't find a single kid who knew em!!!!!

"The" ASDA !!!!!. so do you also say the Tesco or the Saiinsburys, the Morrisons, bet you say Home "and" Bargain too... :D
