Jane's Addiction were great. Glad to see Eric Avery back with the band because he, on the songwriting side, was responsible for much of the music. Jane's, not Nirvana, were really the band were who responsible for ushering the hard rock side of alternative music into the 90's. Nirvana only become big after the Lollapalooza summer tour of 91'. That momentum that Jane's already built from that tour finally broke with Nirvana's "Nevermind" in January 92'. Well I hope they hold it together this time. My Faves: "I Would For You", "Idiot's Rule", "Mountain Song" (demo), "Three Days", & "Of Course"

Just picked up the current issue of Mojo magazine with the Townshend cover (Daltrey has a seperate cover too). Great article on "The Who Sellout" time period & a review of the newest reissue of that album. A must have issue for serious Who fans who love that period of the band (my personal favorite).

Probably the best guitar solo from the Beatles, on "Taxman", is Paul. He can tear it up on any instrument he plays. Definately my favorite bass player. As far as the McCartney solo or Beatles question? I'll take "All Things Must Pass" by George right now over anything Beatles or Beatles related.

I know Im whiny I want a cigarette. It's hard not for me to smoke to begin with & being snowblind isnt making it easier. Im about to smoke bark in a second. They are freezing & if you have a drink on your person you will get locked up, no ticket, locked up. And have you seen the people in Times Square? Trust me, be glad theyre kissing someone else & not you. I dont care how much that place has been cleaned up, now its just pervs in Mickey Mouse outfits instead of raincoats.

Times Square? Why? To stand in the cold, dead sober, & watch a shiny ball come down... it's not fun. Yeah, I love my family but I want to go home. I've gained 11 lbs on this visit, lol. Im not complaining about that, I could use it, but its do to the cold & not being able to go out because all the snow.
