I saw a very vivid rainbow this morning, the lavender? was especially bright.
You need a visit to the "Man" thread, doctors orders

We had a practice swim meet tonight, and I was surprised to see my 6 year old daughter butterflying down the pool (normally only 7+ swim butterfly). She didn't DQ; and she swam faster than her freestyle and backstroke

All of my friends are online
oops well some of them

Oh my!! I assume you're not too crazy about SoCo either then
I'd blame the doobs....ya always gotta start with the doobs....and then move to drinking not the other way around (for me anyway)
Soothing to the stomache alas I don't do either any longer although I've been tempted lately.

Spill!!!
Back when I was about 21 or so me and some buds and our girl friends were at the park playing a game of Keg football and my girlfriend sat on the bleechers downing a qt not a fifth a qt of southern comfort. Well when it was time to leave, I had to carry her to the car. By the time we got back to my friends house she was up and ready for more
So we all sat around the kitchen table having a few beers and a couple doobs and she was drinking Jack this time out of beer mugs straight up! and she's saying mmmm that's sweet! WTF?,well she decides to go up stairs to take a shower. After about half an hour I started to get concerned so I went up and the shower is still running. I knocked but no reply, so I went in and she is passed out cold! Butt neked, blew chunks everywhere walls, ceiling shower curtain. Shit! I thought she was dead! She woke up like two days later

Crown Royal for Hickory Man. << pretend it's whiskey.....
Only trouble with Crown is when you get up you're feet forget to move
Now yer talking about real Scotch! Yeah, let me say, I'm still being educated by my local wine and spirits owner! It's rather intimidating to start trying to choose a Scotch. I work with a real affecianodo and apparently 'area' is very big...peaty vs. mossy....too refined for me, just give me that bourbon or sour mash!!!Ahahaha! Whoever posted (sorry can't remember) about hating whiskey due to over indulgence but loving Southern Comfort...exact opposite of me...after an early adulthood experienc of drinking an entire pint (young and inexperienced, LOL!) of Southern Comfort with Coke (a Cola) shot chasers....the smell of Southern Comfort still makes me want to regurgitate....it's one of those things that tastes way better going down than up....
And Yes...personally wholeheartedly agree with the Makers Mark assessment...good shit!
Muah to all of us 'hard cores'...(in actuality...age has rendered me a lightweight but sometime I still feel a need to jump in the game!)
Boy do I have a story

Message to alwizard03 and dzldoc, Ian wore the red top hat in 1977 during the Songs From the Wood tour. Barrie Barlow wore a kilt. Regarding that tickets stub of al's, 1975 was the War Child tour. Here is a great video, probably posted before, but worth a second look.
Reply to Jethro Tull
That and this is a Derby
This is a Top Hat

Thanks, you are a gentleman!
...and older Wiser!
-
That's the beauty of getting Wiser!...you can enjoy nice nights instead of wild nights...
a couple of months ago I went to this shitty club and I said to my friend "10 years ago, I probably would've gotten pissed in a place like this, then slept the night on somebody's floor. I'm glad I don't do that anymore"
There AMAZONIC all better

Ole Man River's Keeps the Music Roooolllllin along! you remember that commercial al?
I used to live in the apartments next door back in 77 when I worked at avondale ship yard. It was party central. Could drink all I wanted and only had to worry about getting up the stairs to my apt. Made it real conveinient to walk the ladies upstairs for ahem! a night cap
God I hate Shipyards you look down you run into a line strung high .you look up you trip over something strung across the deck.Ole Man Rivers was a good party saw Johnny Winter there also Zebra.Yeah shipyards were dangerous. I saw Zebra there as well and the Meters on New Years Eve and many more.
I passed the place today on my way back from Boutte it's a wreck the building is up for lease and it looks like a storage yard for tractor trailers
Jethro Tull and Alex Harvy Municiple Auditorium 1975
The crowd was rowdy that night did a little damage to the doors .A really outstanding performance by both Bands.
I was at this show too Al, if I remember correctly it started off with Ian Anderson on piano with his derby hat playing Locomotive Breath " Rock on Dude!"
-
Based on his age I would say he was going for this look! Lol

She doesn't like to look at pics of beautiful women? Or maybe she isn't comfortable that you look at them?
I couldn't care less if my husband looks at pictures of beautiful women. And my husband is completely aware of my crush on Robert Plant. We know that looking at pics doesn't do us any harm, why care?
Yes I think that's what I meant, I was always more understanding of her crush
pfft what's a guy to do
edited to counter with my one time crush

Wished my wife was as comfortable seeing pictures of beautiful women
