Don't you just love it when you go to a rehearsal and everyone is on the same page and in the zone? Parts learnt, practice done and even when you play something for the first time it clicks albeit a bit rough around the edges. No stress, just fun! I love music!!!!

Getting ready for rehearsal. Four new songs to run through today, should be fun! Gotta love long, long weekends!

On another sad note, my Marshall Footswitch has packed it in and needs repair, so it's a clean sound for a while.

Year of the Horse, It might Get Loud! Yes, it will get LOUD! I might pump it through my Marshall in honour of James.

I'm looking forward to playing at the Caro this week. A friend of mine since kindergarten that I haven't seen for ages and his lovely wife (whom I've never met), are coming down from Queensland. Might do something different and do some Neil Young!?

With Daylight Saving ending this weekend, it reminds of the time I left my dyslexic roommate a note reminding him to change his clock. I arrived home late on the Saturday night and there he was applying boot polish to his genitalia. I said to him, "I wrote turn your clock, back!"

Just got back from rehearsal and we played with a slide player that added some extra colour and new depth that allows us to expand our repertoire! Woo hoo! I love music!

Hey Carlos,
I used to work with someone called Carlos Delgado here in Australia.

My teenage daughter and a whole heap of friends are off to the Mardi Gras tonight. I suggested to her that with the rain about she might think of taking a poncho. Her response was, "that's so gaaay, dad!" Kids!?

I'm thinking of experimenting with a new dish for Paddy's Day. It's called Gaelic Prawns. Green prawns lightly sauteed with garlic and ginger, served on a bed of jasmine rice with snow peas, butternut, honey carrots and potatoes and covered with a dujon mustard and Bailey's Irish cream sauce. It was inspired by the Irish vibe around at the moment, seeing it's Rory's birthday today and the Caro last night with John and Paul, not The Beatles!? Thoughts please.
