  6. A view from atop Little Round Top hill, looking down into the Devils Den, between the Den and Little Round Top was the Valley of Death, it’s there in the valley where the Union troops butchered 1,814 confederate soldiers, in one of the bloodiest battles in Gettysburg . We go up there about every 2 years since my folks retired and moved nearby. I lean something new every time I visit.
  7. I’m still listening to the MSG evening show of the 19th of September 1970. I’m thinking this is the greatest show ever played at the garden. This crowed just heard That’s the Way, Bron-Y-Aur (not Bron-Y-Aur Stomp), then Since I’ve Been Loving You……….all this prior to the release of Zeppelin III on October 5th. I once new a dude back in NY, he was as big a Tull fan as we are Zep fans, so we would trade boots, anyway, in the 70’s he worked security for the Garden, and he made sure he worked all the zeppelin shows. He told me his 2 favorite moments was Jimmy’s bow solo during a August 73 show, and bright white lights during Achilles Last Stand during the 6 nights in ’77….but I have got to think, in my humble option, this show on the 19th of September, 1970 has got to be the best I have ever heard from the Garden. I think the entire band had the death of Hendrix on their minds during this show….it’s as if every note is approached in a manner of brilliance.

  12. Hey Rick….no one has found it yet, but this new news footage talks about where it might be. Living up in Peekskill NY during the famous “Peekskill Meteorite” and seeing how large that was compared to its trail in the sky, I would say, if this is made of the same materials, we should have something of the size of a volleyball and or other smaller fragments on the ground right now. Whoever finds it will make a lot of money! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqMHw0P9zl8
  13. A Rose for Emily -The Zombies

  15. I saw a HUGE fireball in the sky this morning, with a bright emerald green tail that turned to gold as it dissipated . The meteor itself was very large, the biggest I have ever seen, then a huge flash as it exploded in the atmosphere. I couldn’t hear any boom, I had posted a link from some news footage, but came back to remove it due to it was the wrong footage.
  16. Written by Aleister Crowley, who claimed it was dictated to him by a discarnate entity named "Aiwass" I find Crowleys books intriguing, if for no other reason, to see where Jimmys head was at during the early 70's / late 60's.
  17. For Whom the Bell Tolls- Metallica
