  1. Concerts for the People of Kampuchea was a series of concerts featuring Queen, The Clash, The Pretenders, The Who, Elvis Costello, Wings, and many more artists which took place at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, England during December 1979 to raise money for the victims of war-torn Cambodia. The event was organized by Paul McCartney and Kurt Waldheim, and it involved older artists such as McCartney and The Who as well as younger new wave acts like The Clash and the Pretenders. 3. Ok I've got a question here, I know Jimmy and Robert went to Malibu after the car accident in 75, when did they leave England and how long did they stay there?
  4. It was middle eighties, they did the album Seventh Star which was released in 1986. And again Glenn worked with Toni Iommi in 2004 and 2005.
  5. Hmm, sorry but I've got no clear informations about this. It's not that easy to find stuff about Karen, but I'll keep researching. A few words about Tommy, I love his own stuff more than what he did in Purple, then again I like Deep Purple, but MK II mostly.
  6. Yeah I know you were not suggesting that^^ sorry i didn't make it clear. Anyway, he and Karen hadn't been really "married", though they were together for quite a long time and cared for each other a lot.
  7. Tommy left Purple already in 75 and died too early for that, sadly.
  8. Strange it may seems, but I think she and Michael des Barres are still friends with Robert.
  9. I like him with the hair up and in the japanese costum, so lovely.
  10. This really made me WOW, where did you find this?
  11. Yes,it"s me in the pics. Thanks ^^

  12. Wow great one Miss HD., when was this taken?
  13. That's Tommy Bolin, the guitarist in Deep Purple after Ritchie Blackmore left.
  14. Thanks for that. And I've found another one.
  15. Thanks Knebby, I'll go and check it ^^
  16. Robert's shirt looks so familiar... and then I found this one
  17. Ok, these would be interesting I think...
  18. Yeah, I"ve always known he is getting along very well with Glenn Hughes, but it's the first time I saw him with Tommy Bolin, though at that time there was rumors that Robert, Tommy and Jon Lord would start a supergroup Too bad that Tommy is not around anymore, RIP.
