Hello: Most Canadians know that Paul McCartney was in Quebec City last eve to headline a concert. It is the 400th anniversary on the founding of QC There was a small group opposed to a Brit headlining this event. I have been watching the news yesterday and today. Paul's gig attracted over 200,000 people..I guess the protestors didn't get it cancelled..or wrecked in any way... If you want great pics check out the French network RDI..Even if you don't understand French...you can still enjoy hearing him sing and watching all the people

Hi JT: Hopefully her crystal ball will say it's o.k. I have trouble with outdoor events where there is a "Johnny on the Spot" for a bathroom facility..it can also be called an outhouse... I'm a bit of a spolied brat..I perfer indoor facilites with a proper ladies room with lovely pictures on the wall and bright coloured walls. The JOTS'S has none of those things plus they are usually used by both males and females....not at the same time of course....there's no place to put my purse so I have to put it on the floor.....UGH!!!!!! I do like being outside though to hear the music...much different experience than indoor gigs...

Cabinet shuffle today my fellow Canadians...get out the champagne and caviar.. David Emerson ran as a Liberal but then crossed the floor when Harper offered him a cabinet post. He's the current Foreign Affairs minister after Bernier had to resign due to leaving his "homework" at his girlfriend's. Emerson will probably be made the permanent one ... Will he stay or shuffle back across the floor to rejoin the Liberals? Stay tuned.....

Hello: I'm trying to understand this carbon tax that opposition leader, Stephane Dion, wants to imtroduce when he comes to power. He says all the revenue from this tax will go to cut personal taxes. How does he know there will be revenue from his tax? Can he see into the future? How does he know how people are going to spend their money once there is another tax in this country? Juliet

Hi Pagemeister: This is interesting.... I rec'd a VH newletter celebrating the end of their tour...there was mention of the future but nothing specific.... I'm sure Montreal VH fans and those VH fans who can get to Montreal will be very happy... I was playing David Lee's A Little Ain't Enough CD while I was having my breakfast.
