Hello/Bonjour: I was listening to the RDI (French network ) this a.m. Gilles Duceppe (leader of The Bloc) was being grilled by the announcer...I need to learn more French...I understood some words..(femmes, hommes, jamais=never) I also heard Elizabeth May (leader of Green Party)on the CBC. She will support a coalition... The GG arrives home soon... Harper and the Tories plan to fight back The plot thickens.. Juliet

Hello: I was reading the Toronto Star on the weekend. I see a female, Camilla Scott, is playing the role of Freddie Mercury in the Mirvish production of WE WILL ROCK YOU... She said that her chest voice is suited for Queen tunes...she just belts them out.. Camilla has hosted her own talk show on CTV and performed in Mama Mia and Crazy For You.. The show on the weekend was sold out.... Juliet PS I was looking for a QUEEN thread in the OTHER BANDS section but I don't have time now to go through all the pages..so I'm posting this info here...I hope QUEEN fans will see it and give their opinion...

I don't listen to The "Q" and I'm losing interest in other stations in the Corus group (103.9 The Hawk has completely changed their format..there's no more Zep just alot of easy listening s***. CMT has stupid sitcoms like Hope and Faith)... Juliet

FYI...A half step is also called a semi-tone... I read where Rod Stewart had to sing all his tunes a half step lower after recovering from his cancer surgery on his vocal chords...

Hello: I did not sign up for the DO NOT CALL list...I get a phone call frequently from a well known newspaper wanting to sell me a subscription..I take the opportunity to express my concerns..I hope they take my feedback to their leaders...I think it's important that 'THE PRESS" hear customers' concerns....and they get an earful from me....I think the newspaper is one of the symbols of free speech so I'm exercising my right to free speech to tell them why I'm not getting a subscription...other businesses who call me get a similar lecture... Hi: Visited with family...well it started last eve...had a belated T'giving dinner cause I was working on T'giving Day...enjoyed the Fall colours in Ontario now....and the mild day...just chilled out in the hometown and remembered good times..all in all it made me happy...
