A documentary about Woodie Guthrie..it was on WQLN (a PBS station) early this morning.. Woodie's life and music is inspiring. He had many joys and struggles. He died of Huntington's disease at the early age of 55.. R.I.P. Woodie

Their concert last Sunday eve in London Ontario went well acording to the review ..They played in The RBC theatre..The Bud Gardens is divided more or less in half by a partition...The RBC seats @ 4000..it was more or less full....Mr Gibbons spent some time in London before the concert..he went to a record store... JD Dolan and The Straight Shot opened...JD also has a day job..he is the CEO of Cablevision and executive chairperson of Madison Square Gardens..he also oversees sports teams like the NY Knicks and NY Rangers..

Hello Walter; I read Gaga's tour schdule..I see Barcelona was the last gig in the European leg of the tour...I will assume she was sick from too much touring I see she's on a break till @ the end of October when the tour resumes...she takes a break again in mid December until she resumes the tour in January...hopefully the breaks will help her rest and relax from what is no doubt a gruelling tour... If the tour came to London Ontario I would go..however the costs etc of going to Toronto in mid winter may not work for me due to alot of personal/family reasons..I'll have to work out a plan and if there's still one ticket available I just might go.. I hope I'm in a bad dream..I was checking my Facebook news feed..there was a post by Gaga..she vomitted on stage in Barcelona Last week by surprise I found out that Gaga has added another show in Toronto... I checked about a ticket..I can probably get the time off work however after this vomit silliness I will not invest the time or money to see her Toronto concert... Juliet

SAM THE RECORD MAN SNIDERMAN has passed away.. Sam ran a chain of record shops..the most noted one was the flagship store on Yonge St in Toronto..He promoted Canadian artists by having their records at the front of the store. Sam was awarded The ORDER OF CANADA Sam had a store in London Ontario at the corner of Richmond and Dundas...I'm sure I bought at least one Led Zeppelin record from that store..it was a big store in the heart of London...one of my favourite places... MAY THIS GREAT CANADIAN REST IN PEACE.. Juliet
