Hello: I heard a story on CBC and CTV about a radio station in Alberta (either in Calgary or Edmonton) that is cutting parts of songs. They have this notion/premise that it's too boring for the listener to hear the whole song. They are also shortening the song so they can get more songs on the radio. Canadian singer songwriter,Jann Arden, has been banned from this station because she opposes this type of programming. Juliet

I listened to a variety of tunes this am....Enrique I. (the cd with Rhythm Divine), George Jones ( early tunes;Tarnished Angel, Cold, Cold Heart, Tender Years, Jonesy) and Barry Manilow..(Barry did a album of big band tunes..surprisingly good....if you like big band music and/or Barry Manilow)
