How would you place Led Zeppelin into a larger context of popular music?

I spell it like that because I like it that way.

Talking about "raggae"?

As for the breakdown in Fool In the Rain, it doesn't really strike me as having any similarity to reggae (I spell it that way because that's the way it's spelled). If anything it reminds me of more of a samba beat.

It is a samba beat, quite specifically (tie-in with contemporary Latin American football goings-on)--no resemblance to reggae.

(I don't see the attraction of spelling drummer with one m, myself, but I'm not too familiar with spelling-based thrills.)
