taker328
I found this version around on YouTube and this is the first time hearing it. I'm not familiar with bootlegs, so I wanted to know if anyone knew exactly what show this was from. This has got to be one of the best versions vocally for Robert. So soulful and he plays around with the lyrics. Everyone is in top shape, but damn, this just further proves that Robert is the best male rock vocalist of all time. While we're at it, is there anything that you have heard that you believe to me the best version of SIBLY, or does TSRTS take the crown?
Dirigible
The comments on YouTube say it's Vancouver 1970, but those stage outfits are from the summer of 1973. Pretty clean version.
Squeeze My Lemons
TSRTS version does indeed take the crown over any SIBLY version
jhelgeson79
It is from Vancouver '70, audio wise. You can tell by the organ John Paul is using. It is a sound board recording. The video footage is from the Song Remains the Same and really has nothing to do with the audio. It's just some video someone made up for youtube. bigstickbonzo
It's certainly an early version. Page missed some of his usual (later) cues, his tone, Jones' organ tone and Plant's voice is still very young and pitched. Vancouver '70 it is!
