This is a pretty interesting list! I'm not sure that I would choose a lot of the songs that were chosen for this list, but I might want to add some songs to the list as an honorable mention. They are in no particular order and are as follows: In My Life - THE BEATLES Satisfaction - THE ROLLING STONES Freebird - LYNYRD SKYNYRD What's Going On - MARVIN GAYE Me & Bobbie McGee - JANIS JOPLIN Imagine - JOHN LENNON Comfortably Numb - PINK FLOYD Isn't It A Pity - GEORGE HARRISON I'm Your Captain - GRAND FUNK RAILROAD Long live Rock - THE WHO Like A Rollin' Stone - BOB DYLAN California Girls - THE BEACH BOYS War Pigs - BLACK SABBATH We Will Rock You - QUEEN Rock and Roll - LED ZEPPELIN Hair Of The Dog - NAZARETH Hush - DEEP PURPLE Day Of The Eagle - ROBIN TROWER Suspicious Minds - ELVIS PRESLEY One - U2 These are only some of the many songs that I would have chosen to be on the Top 20 list. I know that many of you out there have many different songs other than mine that you would choose to put on the Top 20 list. With that in mind, I'd like to hear your ideal songs. ROCK ON! TheZeppyWanderer Posted May 29, 2009 Author Share Posted May 29, 2009 I must admit I've long since given up on trying to pick out my fav top 10 , or top 20 of anything, as I usually end up picking so many and just cannot decide which ones to leave out. Obviously there are those great classics which have GOT to be included (whether they are our own favourites or not), a few examples being - ZEPPELIN - Stairway To Heaven and Kashmir SABBATH - Paranoid and Heaven And Hell FLOYD - Comfortably Numb and Crazy Diamond AC//DC - Back In Black and Long Way To The Top RUSH - Spirit Of Radio and Closer To The Heart PURPLE - Black Night and Smoke On The Water we could go on all night I suppose, and if we did we'd find that nobody's favourite top 10 matched anybody else's , and that's a good thing too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
