Best underrated Zep song? My pick: The Rover
TheZeppyWanderer replied to dpat's topic in Led Zeppelin Master Forum
Any of the lesser-played songs from PG - Sick Again, if I had to nominate just one. Must also give a mention to Wonderful One (from No Quarter Unledded). One of my absolute favourites. -
I was hoping they would get the nod - nothing against Madrid or Istanbul, I just think that Japan (overall) are in a much stronger position, and have a better CV than those two. Just don't hold the swimming events on the Fukushima coast okay ! KIDDING !

RIP Dave Wagstaffe, the best left-winger in the country, in his day.

Very good wes ! All of the "Rain" songs were being dug up yesterday - especially after we got away with a draw.

Which Band Have You Seen the Most Times
TheZeppyWanderer replied to bigzepfan's topic in Other Bands / Music
Curved Air, featuring of course the (still) delightful Sonja Kristina. (7 times) Slade and Roy Wood in joint-2nd place with 6 , and then Focus with 5, and a whole gaggle of others (inc.Robert Plant) on 4. -
So, Australia 527 declared. England 294 for 7 overnight, needing 34 more to avoid the follow on, and that target will be absolutely critical to the outcome of this match. Even if England does make 328 and beyond though, Australia will still have a huge first innings lead, and it looks like only rain can help England now.

Australia declare on 527 - who saw that coming ? A very positive move from Michael Clarke, but then his hand has been forced somewhat by the weather predictions for the weekend.

Believe it or not guys, the DRS system is actually okay. No seriously, I mean it. The problem is , the 3rd umpire is (so far anyway) a total shower of sh*t. If the 3rd umpire DID use it correctly, there would be no problem at all. Anyway, to balance out Khawaja's dismissal, Smith could have been gone for nothing, and he's now on 70, so even stevens.

Robert is one of 3 (Honorary) Vice-Presidents of the club (the other 2 being Rachel Heyhoe-Flint and Steve Bull). In their official capacity, and at that executive level, financial involvement is (usually !) very minimal and only token. The biggest, and usually the only real stakeholder of most clubs the owner/chairman (in Wolves case, Steve Morgan) Getting back to the matter of the shows, please don't forget to bring your photo ID and purchasing credit/debit card - these will be neccessary to gain admittance. Enjoy the shows, see you there maybe !

These glorious insults are largely from an era before the English language got boiled down to 4-letter words. · A member of Parliament to Disraeli: "Sir, you will either die on the gallows or of some unspeakable disease." · "That depends, Sir," said Disraeli, "whether I embrace your policies or your mistress." · "He had delus

LAWYER STORY OF THE YEAR, DECADE, AND POSSIBLY THE CENTURY! Source: Facebook – Anton de Vrije Author: Unknown This took place in Charlotte , North Carolina . A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire. Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars, the lawyer filed a claim against the … insurance company. In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost ‘in a series of small fires.’ The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in

The great ship that sank in 1912 was NOT the Titanic - it was its sister ship, the already damaged, broken down Olympic. Biggest insurance fraud of all time, or just another conspiracy theory ? Discuss ! (some great youtube material on this topic by the way).
