I am just wondering about the rumors that keep floating around about LZ going on tour next year??

Them Crooked Vultures (with John Paul Jones on bass) are touring Australia and New Zealand in Janaury 2010.

JPJ has gone so far as to decline a Ross Halfin photo shoot because of Halfin's association with Jimmy (and by

extension Led Zeppelin). Apparently such purposeful distancing is not sufficent or has gone mostly unnoticed.

Robert Plant is considering a promoter's offer to perform at the Glastonbury Festival in England next summer.

Ross Halfin has removed that remark very quickly. So it is supposed to go unnoticed.

I took it as purposeful distancing to keep moving forward with this great new band. JPJ has been otherwise quite comfortable with Ross (the 02 show and Foo Fighters jam, etc.). Ross did photograph Dave Grohl separate from the band in Los Angeles fairly recently.

Those events, however, were before the 3Js' project falling apart.
