Mudbugclub
You might know about this, but if you listen to The Lemon Song with your speakers turned to just one channel you hear the most amazing guitar playing from Jimmy. Try it from 1.28 until 2.25 and then from 5.56 until the end, its amazing playing. You also hear more of Bonham, the greatest drummer in the world...ever! SickTangerine
Yeah, I discovered this a while ago, when you set it to either the right or left channells in the volume control, it sounds great!
Mudbugclub
Jimmy is on fire on Led Zepp II, his playing is amazing. I was at the BBC in London a couple of weeks ago when he was on 6Music and bumped into him as he came out of the lift! I shook his hand and he said nice to meet you, with a big smile on his face. What a lovely guy!
SuperDave
I have listened to The Lemon Song and a lot of LZ II that way before. It's pretty cool and a lot of separation of the different instruments. Probably done in four track. A lot of the recordings from the 60's have this. Listen to some of The Beatles albums like Sgt. Pepper and the White Album.
