Rock N' Rollin' Man Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 BBC Four documentary Krautrock: The Rebirth of Germany Thought this was good, just starting to dig into the krautrock scene. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B89-69icyc Quote
greenman Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 The scaly hand of warners cutting the sound for the last part I see. Not a fan of every band involved but Krautrock produced some of my favourite music and was arguebley the most influential movement since the mid 60's. The british sitcom stuff wasnt really anti German though and I don't think the business press or the fans who listened to it were either. Dads Army and Fawlty Towers were actually poking fun at the British characters inepitude and biotry. Quote
Rock N' Rollin' Man Posted August 23, 2010 Author Posted August 23, 2010 I'm really liking Guru Guru's second album Hinten. Here's a live version of "Electric Junk" and the studio version of "The Meaning of Meaning". Hows that for an album cover. Quote
