luvlz2
When and where was Bonzo's last performance of Moby Dick? Was it in Oakland, California? Was it never played in 1979 or 80?

tom kid
Wonder why it was dropped. For '79, I'm not really sure. Maybe Bonzo was just sick of playing it? But in '80 it wouldn't have fit in with Jimmy's idea of cutting all the really long songs (D&C, No Quarter, self indulgent 'noise' solos etc.). luvlz2
Perhaps fan pressure was involved in their decision to drop the longer soloing songs?

tom kid
Perhaps fan pressure was involved in their decision to drop the longer soloing songs? I think it was rather that the band thought the songs had run their course at that point.
