ledzepfilm
In case you didn't know, this is The Song Remains the Same, released in 1976 by the band with the footage shot and recorded at Madison Square Garden in 1973 and also shot on a soundstage in Shepperton Studios in 1974 to fill gaps in where members of the film crew weren't filming at MSG. I wouldn't say that it's really rare, because it's an official release, and I bet a lot of people have this.
Flyingzepp
My parents have that VHS copy that you've posted, that might be a little hard to find.
Glyn
I have one from 1984. Different cover. I'm gonna digitize the video and audio as I no longer have a vcr hooked up to my tv, just my computer. I have been interested in seeing how this 1984 vhs version compares to the Blu Ray release. As far as value goes...not much. The current release surpasses vhs in all things quality and they aren't really rare. Maybe $5 yard sale value. I see them at the thrift store all the time. ledzepfilm
Would you send me a copy of this digitally, if it's in the correct pitch and speed? The PAL releases have the video faster and the audio pitch higher than normal.
Glyn
I'm planning on transferring it tomorrow. The tape "reels" for lack of a better word, inside of the cassette were seized so I opened it and fixed it today. Hopefully it transfers ok. Pb!
The fine print shows your edition is from 1990; it is basically worthless as a collectible.
