joe (Liverpool)
Kevin Ayers has died at the age of 68, did some great songs IE Strangers In Blue Suede Shoes, I'm sure there are still a lot of his fans around.
ledded1
I have been a fan of his since his Soft Machine days. It's a sad loss to the music world he was a unique character and musician.

JTM
Oh yes A.C.N.E. June 1st 1974 a fantastic album. One of the first CDs I bought in the early 90s. When I dug out my copy the other day to give the K.A tracks a blast I found the CD a little degraded that the first track, Eno's Driving Me Backwards will not play. The rest of it is ok though, must scour the web for a replacement. R.I.P Kevin. That picture of K.A smiling at John Cale, K.A was screwing Cales wife. When Cale found out he wrote a song about it.Can't remember what it was called. Short Sleeves? or something like that.
