miker1102 Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 This pull over was in one photo but I could find another. Has anyone seen this somewhere other than the Preston shot? I owned a crew one from Oakland but this one was harder to find anything on on the internet. Quote
zeplz71 Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 (edited) That's a nice piece! There's one in the vintage swag section. http://www.ledzeppelin.com/photos/memorabilia/vintage-swag/1975-crew-sweatshirt Edited December 13, 2018 by zeplz71 Quote
miker1102 Posted December 29, 2018 Author Posted December 29, 2018 Thanks. I was hoping to trade it out. I posted it on Ebay but do not really want the cash. I wish Zeppelin had an Archive I would donate this one. Quote

The Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame occasionally accepts items on loan for limited exhibition, often from the artists themselves, but I'd imagine from the general public as well. Quote
miker1102 Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 Thanks. I get tired of the prices and resellers. I see this stuff as history. I think the next generation would think this stuff is great. Maybe I am an idealist. I think I am going to start a museum in my basement. Quote

There was a time that Elvis Presley was widely considered the world's greatest entertainer and the King of Rock n' Roll. His fan base is passing away now and glutting the market with their collections. We'll see the same phenomena over the next 20 to 30 years with Led Zeppelin. It's just the way it is -- young people want their own popular culture icons. Quote
miker1102 Posted January 27, 2019 Author Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) Nah. Zeppelin is much more timeless they have songs about Mordor, vikings and Iceland. My grandkids will love them!! In actuality, they are smart about the use of the music in promotions so I see them differently than Elvis. I coukd be kidding myself. But we had a lot more fun at concerts in the 70s and 80s then the kids did in the 50s. Edited January 27, 2019 by miker1102 Quote
