A hedgerow is a barrier of hedge and other tree species that divide up agricultural fields, particularly in the countryside, in much the same way as a wall or fence. These hedgerows become ecosystems for wildlife, and the greater variety of species of flora and fauna, the greater variety of animal life that lives in them.
