Wolfman Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 These fanclub things are lame IMO. Just reeks of sucking your fans dry. http://www.ecaccess.cc/login No wonder he owns his own island. Quote
ninelives Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 They just can't get enough of his love. I'm in the camp of lovers, about 75% of his music. All the Yardbirds, Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes, and some of his solo output. There was a huge gap of music I didn't like from the late 1970's to just recently. A few things were decent in that gap but not much. I got re-interested with his going back to basic blues and last years Crossroad's Guitar Festival and his re-collaboration with Steve Winwood. I like all of the above as well though I prefer Clapton's early solo works to the stuff he put out 80s on for the most part. I'm happy he is touring with Steve Winwood whom I am a HUGE fan of. Quote
