I love Eric Clapton but is this really necessary?

They just can't get enough of his love.

I'm in the camp of lovers, about 75% of his music. All the Yardbirds, Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes, and some of his solo output. There was a huge gap of music I didn't like from the late 1970's to just recently. A few things were decent in that gap but not much. I got re-interested with his going back to basic blues and last years Crossroad's Guitar Festival and his re-collaboration with Steve Winwood.

I like all of the above as well though I prefer Clapton's early solo works to the stuff he put out 80s on for the most part. I'm happy he is touring with Steve Winwood whom I am a HUGE fan of.

If you can go, do it. I went last year at MSG and it was fantastic. I'll be getting tix for Philly on Saturday.
