Jimmy Page was his usual cagey self when asked directly if there were any upcoming Zeppelin releases for the bands 50th anniversary. While he did confirm that a new live album was in the pipeline, he wasn’t eager to share the specific details about when it would come out or which concert would be featured. He did, however, spill the beans a bit in that the new release will also include video

Jimmy Page:  “Well, the original plan was to release it in November , you know, but then we found there was actually film of the show, so once we acquired that, the logical thing was to marry the two, and of course,  that makes things much more time-consuming, I mean this stuff is 50 years old, it has to be transferred properly, so this delayed things quite a bit, but I think the fans will be pleased with the final product, which should be ready soon”

And there's booking the time at Shepperton Studios to finish off the project...

It's temporary. When the exhibit opens to the public Jimmy will be in the display case posing with it, thus achieving his goal "to be seen playing live".

I rather prefer the idea of Jimmy being "housed" in the exhibit with the amplifiers.

If you put a token in the slot...he'll come out and respond to you, with one of 5 statements in answer to any query. ☺️

😁 We decided against the typical 3 cam look for the videos , at least most of the time because we never liked that look. It's kind of like..."what do I look at??" We are posting individual instrument camera videos as well which are in a playlist in the channel.

👍 Oh, okay, I did not realize that. I have always thought, that that's how any rock concert should be filmed, with isolated camera angles that can be viewed at will,  by the consumer when they watch a DVD or Blu-ray. In addition, I would have a fixed  "full stage" view that could be viewed, as an option, because, like being in the audience at a rock concert, you naturally see the whole stage, and you then let your eyes focus on what you want to see at any particular moment. It's not Rocket Science, but the "MTV" style of filming concerts rules the day when bands are being filmed.

The only thing left for Jimmy to do of any real value now is to get on and write his autobiography-before it’s too late. Somehow I doubt we’ll ever get to read it though......

    To be released posthumously....

  5. Sky-watchers in the Northern Hemisphere will get to see a cosmic triple play on March 20, 2019 as a “super worm moon” lights up the vernal equinox. According to astronomy website EarthSky.org, a full moon has not landed this close to the first day of spring since the year 2000, and the two celestial events won’t happen less than a day apart again until 2030.

Because the moon’s orbit is egg-shaped, there are times when it is at what astronomers call perigee, or its shortest distance from Earth, and times when it is at apogee, or its farthest distance from Earth. And because the size of the moon's orbit varies slightly with each lunar cycle, perigee is not always the same distance from month to month.

At 3:45 p.m. ET (19:45 UT) on March 19, 2019 the moon will be a mere 223,309 miles away from our planet, making for an especially close perigee.

Then, at 9:43 p.m. ET on March 20, 2019 (1:43 UT on March 21), the moon will officially reach its full phase. As a result of these combined events, the full lunar disk will appear 14 percent larger and 12 percent brighter than usual—a spectacle widely known as a supermoon.

The equinox supermoon will be the final one for 2019, which already saw supermoons fall on January 21 and February 19. But the year may have saved the best for last, given the coincidental timing with the March equinox at 5:58 p.m. ET (21:58 UT) on March 20—less than four hours before the supermoon arrives.

Bowler hat? I don't recall Bonzo ever wearing a bowler hat on the 77' tour. I thought he only wore the bowler hat on the 75' tour??? If memory serves Bonzo wore the fishing hat off and on but that is the only hat I recall him wearing in 77'. Then there was the weird druid clown outfit he wore at Oakland but that was the exception.

BTW can't blame you for linking the white dragon suit with Jimmy in 77' as that was his classic look for that tour. However, I hate that stupid suit. White was the LAST color Jimmy should have worn in 77' as he was so pale and it just exemplified his emaciated state. The stormtrooper gear he wore in Chicago was different and funky. TBH I never liked the glam rock costumes jimmy wore from 73' - 77' but that's just my preference.

Maybe you're right about the bowler hat being '75. But sunglasses were cool in '77. I prefer the white dragon suit. Jimmy never wore the black dragon suit at any of the shows I attended, and that's okay...
