  1. This is the version I have. Paid £20 for it at a record fair in York around 83/84. Was a Kings ransom at the time 😂
  2. Ha ha. I too was also 17 at the time of both gigs, but only by 30 odd days!!
  3. ....and just popping in again on the 40th anniversary of the second weekend at Knebworth. A very poignant memory as this proved to be the last ever performance by the original members as Led Zeppelin in the UK. So 'greetings' to my fellow Knebworthonians for the second weekend.
  4. Ah, there you are ledded1. Was wondering where you were. In the queue for the bogs perhaps? A crazy couple of weekends indeed, but well worth it. Man, we were so fortunate to make the O2 and to meet beforehand. Cherished memories.
  5. Just popping in on the 40th anniversary to say 'hello' to my fellow Knebworthonians. Here's a few pics I took.
  6. Ollie: What are you doing? Stan: There's somebody knocking on the phone. Ollie: See? That's levity. Stan: Hello, Mr. Levity? Ollie: Answer the door! "Mr. Levity". Mmph!
  7. Well... it's Christmas after all!!!
  8. Dropping in again... slightly late however. Very un-English. Apologies.
  9. Finally got my hands on it today (11th)!!! Blasting out now. Me: Happy Bunny. Wife: Not so Happy Bunny 😁
  10. That'll teach me then! You'd expect LZ.com would mail first, but clearly not. Amazon from now on. At least with them you generally have your hands on your stuff on the day of release.
  11. So I ordered the super deluxe box set from LZ.com ages ago, thinking this was the honourable thing to do.... and it's not yet in my hands!!! Very frustrating. Received an email on the eve of the release (6th) from Music Glue stating the following: "Please allow up to 10 business days for your order to arrive. If your order has not arrived by September 20 please get in touch by replying to this email." WTF!! Really expected better service than that.
  12. You know, I think you're right 😂 I still think it's hard to really see Page's outfit and I can't decide if its light reflecting on his arm or it's that outfit in the Pittsburgh photo - probably the latter.
  13. http://www.ledzeppelin.com/show/may-17-1975 http://www.ledzeppelin.com/show/may-18-1975 Appears to be plenty of photos on this very site via these links 👍
  14. This feels like 'Zeppelin Mysteries hosted by Pilot O' Storm' 😉 So this is account given to me by my buddy who sent me these two pics. The pics were sent to him by his (now long lost) female 'pen pal' in either 77/78 when he was in his late teens. She was from Birmingham (UK) and worked as an assistant in a photo lab. My buddy is also a UK resident. Both of the pictures have a faded 'Kodak' stamp on the rear. He believed she'd, shall we say 'borrowed' them from a customers developed film and upon learning of his love for all things Zeppelin decided to send him the copies. The pics have remained dormant in a box for 40 years! This is why I was leaning towards Earls Court, but, like I have previously mentioned, I am more than happy to be corrected based on other photographic evidence of the '75 North American Tour. ...and there you have it. Over to you budding detectives 🕵️‍♂️
  15. Wow. Super eagle eyes. I can barely make out Page's outfit. Can you paste a pic of the outfit you're referring to? I'm going to check with my buddy that sent me those pics about the source of them. He did spin a yarn about them, but I just need to check one or two things out. My assumption was Earls Court based on Plants knotted blouse and the lights on the front of the stage. Those lights are in lots of other Earls Court pics... but I've since seen similar arrangements on stages in North America '75. Also see the attached pic. Mr Osbourne may well be correct, in which case I will stand corrected.
  16. If you mean which gig, then they are from Earls Court '75.
  17. Nice touch ledded1... an excellent way all round to pay your respects.
  18. Yup. I got The Who's double lp 'The Kids Are Alright' on blue and red vinyl and Rory Gallagher 'The French Connection' (previously unreleased 1974 concert recorded at RTL Studios, Paris). Both impulse buys as I only really went for the Zep single but really pleased with my purchases.
