This was my first time taking a look through this thread and all I can say is... I'm going to look for Jimmy next!
  2. Thanks for the kind words Mike. :-)

Try not to get addicted, I'm new here, but have well-established interweb addictions elsewehere, lol! Take it easy.

  3. Happy belated birthday! 43 here as well, 48 days ago.
  4. What an awesome poster! Wish I had been to that show.
  5. Oh to be that young again! Thanks for the welcome Steve!
  6. We used to use the word "gay" a lot back in the 80's as an insult, as in "like, that is/he is/she is so gay." Kids also called each other "gay-wads" - anybody here remember that one? Ah, youth. Maybe it's a retro thing. Sorry for being .
  7. Thank You for me, such a beautiful song.
  8. I just voted as well - wonderful drawing!
  9. Why thank you!

  10. Wow, I had forgotten all about that Mike! I still have my original album as well, so I took a look and yep, there it was, pretty pink, blue and green pastel colors from when I carefully applied water on it with a paintbrush way back in the day. That is really such a cool album cover too. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
  11. Doh! I knew it had to do with that button, but couldn't get it to work last night for some reason. Thanks Bonzo.
  12. Conney, Bonzo and Dzldoc, wish I knew how to quote the three of you all in one reply, but thanks for the comments, youse are crackin' me up!
  13. Hey there, thanks very much for adding me as a friend here. You have excellent taste in music! Here are the names of two newer bands you might like to check out: My Morning Jacket and Porcupine Tree. Very different styles musically, but both excellent in the studio and live. If you'd like to know more about either one, let me know. Cheers!

    Hello!

Thank you very much, it's nice to be here! Btw, I'm a big fan of Denis Leary.
  15. I played the French horn and xylophone when I was in school band. Now I play piano and guitar - neither one exceptionally well but I enjoy it.

    Hello!

    Thank you very much Page-ist!
  17. A few of my favorites - "Life was meant to be lived, and curiosity must be kept alive. One must never, for whatever reason, turn his back on life." - Eleanor Roosevelt "Live life in the direction it takes you." - Unknown "Imagination is more important than knowledge." - Albert Einstein
  18. There is actually some really good music being made nowadays, but you have to know where to find it. I stopped listening to commercial radio many years ago, and what is considered "hip" and popular. BOT, I personally can not recall meeting any Zep haters, in fact they are one of the few bands that most people I know agree on in a positive way. They were quite big when I was in high school, lots of Zep-heads around then and I still wear Zeppelin t-shirts and never get any negative responses when I wear them.
  19. Can't say as I'm a huge fan of either band but if I had to pick one it would be Iron Maiden.
  20. No problem Mike, glad to help. As you found out already, that song is a B side to Immigrant Song, so it's not surprising that you wouldn't have it in your Zep collection, I don't either! Funny how much radio play it got considering. Anyway, nice to meet you and welcome aboard! :-)

  21. Hey Hey What Can I Do Hope you didn't join the forum just to find that out.
  22. Congrats Bonzo!! I definitely agree with 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 & 15.
  23. Mine too. Animals is my favorite Floyd album all around, followed by Meddle.
