  1. Looks like around 1970 in the Julie Felix show period (April 1970) when his hair was to his shoulders and wavey.

With wayyyy too many photos of Jimmy to choose a favorite, or even a top ten, the closeup of him from the Jule Felix show that is in the summer Uncut magazine is a gem. The background and some of the colors on his shirt match his guitar. I love his hippy shirt and the way one eye is hidden.

  2. I have seen three. One was many years ago when I was in my twenties and don't remember much of the show.

Saw "Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience" and loved it. Lot of energy from the band and very emotional at times.

Recently saw "Get the Led Out". Great time. They played songs to the studio version very very well, which required eight guys on stage for some songs :) . They played a few that I wasn't expecting like "Fool in the Rain", "Your Time is Gonna Come" and "Tangerine".

    I don't have a "worst" entry as I haven't seen that many.

  3. Inside the relleno or inside the omelet? The chili relleno was your standard relleno with cheese stuffed inside the chili.

For the omelet, you prepare just like any other omelet, and fold the eggs over the chili rellenos. Garnished on top with a little salsa and sour cream.

Breakfast today was a bowl of Shredded Wheat and bananas and milk. And a V8.

I meant the rellenos. When I read about them, the article noted that they are sometimes prepared with meats and like yours as well.

I love V8 and tomato juice. mmmm.

  4. Had a couple chile rellenos left over from the other night, so I made a chili relleno omelet for brunch today.

I must live a more sheltered food life than I thought. I had to google chilli relleno. What did you put inside?

Having a strange lunch: brown rice mixed with a little butter, parmesan and jalapeno Tabasco sauce - but it tastes good to me!

  5. Strider, on your first point above, I agree writing things out can be a catharsis. Led Zep Girl, it can be hurtful to be shut out, but as Strider said, you did your part in trying to resolve a conflict. The other party may come around at some point.

Re: Weird Al. I think it was last week when I was looking at some Zeppelin videos in Youtube, I stumbled across an "interview" with Al and Robert Plant. Very funny.

  6. Thanks BD and Chase......my daughter just came by to show me the sonagram pics. Definately twins and definately boys. They already look like they are having a boxing match. I am so happy for her and terrified for her at the same time. This will be it for her when they are born. She already has three other children.

Congratulations to you and your family. Five kids is a large family these days.

  7. Ebay. I've picked up a few on there for relatively good prices, from about $10-25. If you spend some time looking for them, waiting for the right auction, you can get a good deal. The few that I have found in a record store were priced around $50 for mudslide, and $120 for half of Badgeholders.

Anyone have any good tips for Sue to find a record player (see her post #34)? Ebay also? I think I've seen posts here and there about people finding record players at yard(garage) sales.

  8. I got a random Christmas card with the same results. She isn't on FB, though, which I totally get, but I can't wait to see her again!

I have a similar story to yours and slave to zep's, but I was the initiator with a few people who I've lost touch with. The hard part (for me) is to follow up and keep it going.
