  1. Saw The Big Short last night. Loved it, GREAT cast, and I learned quite a bit about the 2008 economic crash. Because I'm often running late (stuck at office) to catch a movie, I miss a lot trailers. I had no idea that this movie includes a Zeppelin song in the soundtrack. I won't spoil when/what song in case I'm not the only one in the dark.
  2. Fabulous photos Patrycja. "A picture says 1000 words", but those say one thing to me - Fall. Here are some wintry ones I took yesterday at Mount Eisenhower, NH:
  3. Another Tool fan here. Great photos TypeO and SW.
  4. Happy Birthday Walter! Hope you and your family enjoy your celebration. A belated Happy Birthday to the other October babies.
  5. Thanks Deborah J! I hadn't heard about this one yet. Cheers.
  6. Happy Birthday Deborah J, hope it was wonderful.

    FULL MOON

The last few blood moons have not been visible from New England. I'm hoping for Sunday. Right now the forecast is calling for partly cloudy, that will be an improvement. Hoping the forecast will change to clear skies.
  9. Hi Charles, That is from the base of Mt. Monroe (NH) looking Southeast. Here's one of Katahdin (ME) in the distance, from Baxter State Park, and the following day at Pamola peak. Unfortunately the weather that day was so horrible there were no views.
  10. Happy Birthday Mr. Carruthers!!!
  11. I made the decision not to join my brother in Dallas last week because I thought it would let my last time seeing them be the show from a few years ago where Mick Taylor joined. My brother said last weekend's show was fantastic. Listened to the traditional Sticky Fingers remaster last night. So good. Look forward to hearing the companion record.
  12. The Pentangle . Didn't know about them until I saw the film "Far From the Madding Crowd". "Let No Man Steal Your Thyme" was part of the sound track. Cary Mulligan did a fine job singing, but Jacqui McShee's voice is so beautiful. Bert Jansch is pretty darned good too ;-)
