  1. ah yes, ., my favorite Zep concert ever! Anyone who doesn't think that . was the pinnacle of Zep's live career is a complete buffoon!
  2. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes that intro.
  3. I don't think he was tired of it or they wouldn't have played it at all. I don't think there's any Zep songs Jimmy was tired of actually. Some songs besides Heartbreaker and Communication Breakdown would have been welcome. Maybe re-introducing The Wanton Song as an encore could have worked. It's a shame they dropped The Ocean after 1973, considering how often people in the crowd would shout for it.
  4. Kaiju and gravure, eh? Two of my favorite things. B^)
  5. It's my favorite of all the '75 shows available on soundboard. I think it's an absolutely fantastic show from beginning almost to the end. Very creative playing and a high-energy performance from the band. It is a shame the Jimmy just completely lost it just in time for Heartbreaker though.
  6. I remember how loud and excited the crowds got just before the Moby Dick outro on both nights. My guess is either there were a lot of drummers in the audience or people were excited that the damn things were finally gonna be over.
  7. I've only heard bits of the audience tapes for 5/26 and 5/28 but what I remember from all four, the audiences were very into it, especially the first night. The 26th starts off good but over the top fucked it all up.
  8. watching Seattle '77 EDIT: On No Quarter now. Really a great performance all around. Very creative playing from Jimmy. (I'm not joking.) Am I crazy or does the picture quality seem to improve a bit during the big guitar solo then go back down to what it was before after it's over?
  9. You've obviously never heard any of Tarantura's releases of Mr. Peach's Queen tapes. Those releases are absolutely unlistenable.
  10. looks like when they played Dazed and Confused on March 25, 1969
  11. Over the Hills and Far Away 1975/03/12. Really wish Jimmy had kept that unique touch he added during the outro through the rest of the tour.
  12. Dazed and Confused 1972/06/22. IMO The Crunge jam was better here than in LA.
