  1. This may or may not be the best version of "Stairway to Heaven" but I think that this is the longest version of this song. Played at the very last live Led Zeppelin show Ever. July 7, 1980 in Berlin, West Germany. A very Sad but fitting tribute to the Greatest Song of All-Time. Have a Listen.

  2. Man King Zoso, you are quite the fanboy. BB was a good show but there have and currently are better shows. I would say House of Cards is the best series of the last 20 years, much much better than BB on many levels but that is only my opinion and I am sure not going to post endless diatribe regarding the show. Just because I like it does not mean it has to completely consume my life.

Good point, but I will have to say that I am not a fanboy of this Awesome Show, but A FanMan (I am 43 years old). I have not seen one second of "House of Cards" because I am not a Netflix subscriber. You are correct in saying that "House of Cards" is better on so many levels because that is your opinion. And I have My opinions too.

Has "House of Cards" (or even Kevin Spacey) won dozens and dozens of awards for Anything (Like Breaking Bad has), besides Robin Penn winning for "Best Supporting Actress?

It is My opinion (and Millions of Others), that will Prove that "Breaking Bad" will go down in American Television History as One of the Greatest Shows of All-Time.

"House of Cards" is not even shown of American Television. You have to Pay to watch it.

"Breaking Bad" was on AMC, a free channel that most Americans who have a television and some sort of Cable could see.

Enough of "Breaking Bad", "Game of Thrones" is resuming on March 6, 2014.

Edited to Add: I am very Eager to hear your retort to what I have asked you. Do you really think that "House of Cards" is a better show than "Breaking Bad" and do you really think that that show will be remembered by millions of American viewers over a series that is free to watch over a "Mini-Series" (that probably will not survive another season, and that you had to pay and subscribed too to watch)?

  3. Since this thread is still going, thought I'd post one of my favorite scenes from the final episode where Walt pays a visit to his old Gray Matter associates Elliott and Gretchen:

This scene is Awesome. It is Walter White making his old colleagues making it "Right" so that His family gets what is left of his "Drug Empire" money. $9,700.000

What make it especially good and funny is that is was only red laser pointers by Badger and Skinny Pete that the two "hitmen" carried. Not actual weapons with laser sight.

  4. I agree with you that Lightfoot sings very well and si I love to hear his any song.

This is one of My Favorite Songs (such a simple song but a very Beautifully Crafted Song).

What more can I say. Gordon Lightfoot is a master Craftsmen.

  5. This song is So made for the Ending of Breaking Bad. Even though this song is a "Classic", it is (in MY opinion) a very fitting ending and tribute to this "Historic" American Television Show:

  6. I just got a new cell phone on February 3, 2014. A new Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. I had my old Samsung cell phone for 3 and a half years before it died on me. My old Samsung phone was an "old" smartphone (though State-of-the-Art at the time). Of course, I had friends and co-workers with Iphones and other newer phones than mine but I was used to and content with My phone. I did not need all that new technology that the their phones were capable of. As long as I could call or text, I was content.

However, My new phone is "literally" (or should I say "practically") a computer on/in a phone. Almost 3 weeks after having it, I still do not really know all that this phone is capable of. I guess I will learn or take one full day to try and fully comprehend what My phone is capable of. One of the first things I did do was download the iHeartRadio app. With iHeartRadio, I customized my own channels. My channels in order are:

    Led Zeppelin

    Rush

    Aerosmith

    Black Sabbath

    Dio

    the Beatles

    the Rolling Stones

    Iron Maiden

    Judas Priest

One other great feature that My new phone provides, I am now capable of accessing this Awesome Led Zeppelin Forum with only the touch of a finger. I can now read posts and comments when I am at work or anywhere else I happen to be.

Anyway, I seemed to "Ramble On" and said/typed more then I anticipated.

The actual topic was meant to ask anyone who cares to respond: What kind of Cell Phone or "Smart" Phone do you possess?

  7. Here is something that is quite funny and a mystery to Me as well.

At the 1:06:46 mark, Jimmy or Bonzo (don't know which one) can be heard saying, "I just puked on that". It is a little faint in hearing but I heard it all the same. What is funny to me is, who puked on what and why?

    and,

at the 1:43:08 mark Robert says, "Fuck You, mate", to someone (apparently a British man and off to the side of the stage). Who did Robert tell to "Fuck Off"? Richard Cole, perhaps?

This is, of course, the "infamous" September 29, 1971 Osaka gig where Bonzo can't be found during the acoustic set. Robert dismisses this and says that Bonzo has gone with Geisha.

Check it out and listen for yourself. By the way, a Great bootleg of a Great Concert by Led Zeppelin:

  8. Maybe Walter White could have put his "genius" to better use by coming up with a cure for cancer?

Good Point, unfortunately, the Drug Trade pays better. I am not advocating his line of work, either but it sure made for compelling television viewing.

  9. More Great Fan reactions to the End of "Breaking Bad":

Walter White was a Genius when it came to making "Weapons of Mass Destruction". (And that includes the 98.1% Blue Meth that was His and Jesse's Signature Product).
  10. I'm not a huge fan, but I still enjoy many of his songs.

A very talented, underated singer and song writer with an effortlessly, powerful voice. The lyrics and melodies he wrote seem quite simple and yet there is always a depth to his songs.

Thanks for taking me back and reminding me how pleasurable it is listing to Gordon Lightfoot.

    One of my favourites ....

You are very welcome. I agree with you that there is seriously tremendous depth to His songs.

  11. Breaking Bad ended over 4 months ago, however, the Awards and Accolades still continue to pour in: this time from the Screen Actors Guild Association (SAG Awards).

Winner: Bryan Cranston for best Male Actor in a Drama Series.

Winner: Breaking Bad for best Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Like I have said many times before, I believe that these Awards re-affirms My belief that Breaking Bad will go down in American History as One of the Greatest American Television Shows of All-Time. Remember, these Awards are voted on by people that are paid to watch, review and judge such Shows. They base their votes on actual Merit and Significance, of which Breaking Bad has all that plus More.

I am just a Great Fan of this Show, however, it does please Me that Breaking Bad is Awarded and Afforded the Acclaim that It Justly Deserves.

30 - 50+ Million Fans of this Award-Winning show Cannot be wrong.

LONG LIVE BREAKING BAD AND MR. WALTER WHITE!!!
