  1. Yes, that is why 3/8/75 West Palm was cancelled.
  2. Well, the cancelled West Palm Beach show that has been mentioned already in this thread would have essentially been Miami, and they did play there at least once in '69, but you're right, it is a bit curious. Perhaps they thought that one Florida show per tour was sufficient (Orlando in '71, Tampa in '73 & '77, cancelled West Palm in '75). Maybe that's why they chose such large venues for the Florida show '73-'77, so that they could satisfy the demand with just one show. If that's the case though, they really underestimated some of those driving distances...nowhere in Florida is a hop-step-and-a-jump from anywhere else--even Tampa to Orlando is a good two hours.
  3. I agree--I think as far as L.A. '77 goes, 21 & 22 are the first tier, 23 & 26 second, 25 & 27 third. Within the three tiers it really comes down to personal preference.
  4. One of my favourite shows as well--too bad we don't have this and the 26th in Millard quality to make an "apples to apples" comparison of the six...
  5. Hamburg 3/21/73 is excellent as well; one of the best Dazed's!
  6. June 3, 1973 L.A. - First time listening to the whole show...always put it off because of the tape issues, my mistake!
  7. Mobile, Alabama from this date in '73, first time listening to the full show--WOW
  8. April 30, 1977 - Pontiac Silverdome...38 years ago today.
  9. 4/27/69 San Francisco for it's 46th birthday--The Jimi Page Experience.
  10. June 19, 1972 Seattle -- Even "Moby Dick" is riveting--Idk what the taper's problem is...("I hate drum solos. I hate them. Hate 'em a lot")
  11. March 27, 1975 - Los Angeles on its 40th anniversary, one of my favorites... "'Has anybody seen the bridge?' 'NOOOOO!!'"
  12. Seattle - March 21st, 1975 on it's 40th anniversary. If this show was multi-tracked Jimmy could release it without a single edit imo.
  13. Vancouver - March 19, 1975 on its 40th Anniversary, just started.
  14. Funny, I was listening to bits of that last night...the part in "In My Time Of Dying" where Bonzo throws Jimmy off always cracks me up. I was amazed at how long it took Jimmy to get back on track--probably would've had a faster recovery time in the early days lol
  15. I'll have to listen again...if I remember correctly the rest of the song is a bit sloppy in parts at that show, no?
  16. 2/13/75 -- Bonham goes nuts in the second half of IMTOD, forgot about that part.
  17. Same here! Halfway through a great "In My Time Of Dying".
  18. Well let's hope the other NY '77 one is 6/13! Or I guess 6/14 complete would be good too. I guess the '75 pattern would suggest they have 3/21 Seattle, unless it stops at 3/20 Vancouver...fingers crossed it doesn't.
  19. Did you leave It'll Be Me from 5/22 off intentionally as well?
  20. Now, now, no need for racism. A board of 3/21/75 would be fantastic though...
  21. That's one of the great things about the 6/22/77 version--he manages to jump to the 6-string neck right away at the start of the solo. Also great that Robert actually echoes "laughter" rather than "Does anybody remember..."
