  1. You know me well enough to know that I wouldn't make light of the injections if there really were something to worry about . They're a piece of cake and given the pain you're experiencing now, you'd enjoy the relief they bring. That said, I sincerely hope that the meds do the trick for you and that there is no need to visit the injection option
  2. Sorry to hear about your arthritis Slave and hopefully, being on a steady diet of anti inflammatory meds for a while, you'll feel some relief . They can take a while to kick in so don't give up on them too soon. If it does come down to getting the injections, don't fret. They'll freeze the area and outside of certain body parts feeling like they're going to explode....you won't notice a thing.... ..joking
  3. Let us know if you need any help with that

Well done Super Dave With the British Open coming up in a few weeks, I'd say both Justin Rose and Jason Day would be good picks again .

    Oh CANADA!

Yep, climate change is certainly wreaking havoc all over the world. In this case, it's a biproduct of a tropical storm front coming up from the south meeting with a storm front from the north. The heavy rains forced a rapid melt of the snow cap in the Rockies and more than another 100ml of rain are expected over the next 2 days. There are already highways in south eastern BC that are closed but if that expected rain materializes, most of the Kootenay region of the province will probably be looking at events similar to those in Alberta

    Oh CANADA!

My thoughts go out to all of those in Calgary and southern Alberta hit by flash flooding. http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/06/20/pictures-and-videos-of-massive-flooding-in-canmore-and-southern-alberta/
  8. These days my wife allows herself one drink whether we're out or at home. It's usually vodka cranberry or a belini. Once in a while, a cold beer. It's a far cry from when we first met when she could drink me under the table

You said it yourself CP, it can be a very frustrating game. It humbled me at the best of times The back is coming along thanks. I've started physio and some deep tissue massage but we're still quite a ways off from being strong enough to walk any kind of a distance without having to take a break. Can't see me even walking a course till next season at the earliest

Yeah, what an odd situation . Then again, I'm kinda pumped about the tradition and the fact that the US Open could, for all intents and purposes, be decided by a basket ! I'd love for it to happen on the 18th on Sunday. The fate of it all
  12. Saw them in 1993 when they openned for Robert Plant at the Orpheum in Vancouver. Thought they were great !

    Oh CANADA!

Yes, Vancouver and Seattle have the same climate and winters are cold wet and windy but compared to the rest of the country, it's not winter . However, when we have an el nina winter, we usually end up with colder than usual temps and a lot more snow !

He cake walked it yesterday and the margin of his victory could have been far more than the two strokes he won by. Hard to not to bet for him at the US Open
