Agreed,Carouselambra is an epic.

After all these years I still can't stand The Crunge.The idea may have been ok for a 'b' side but it sticks out like dogs balls on the lp.It's recorded wrong,too dry sounding,Plants vocals too close to the mid and too compressed and shut that confounded synthesiser up.

Ritchie Blackmore is the main influence on my guitar playing.My third lp back in the day was Made in Japan bought with my own money when i was 14 and i still have it although you could read the newspaper through it it has been played that much.As much as I love Page,Hendrix,Akkerman,van Halen,Lifesonetc Black more will all ways be my fave.

Along with Zep Rush is my favourite band.For the record my faves are Grace Under Pressure,Roll the Bones and Counterparts.Yes these albums are from the later 'lost their way' period but these albums are full of brilliant musicianship and lyrics.Don't get me wrong 2112,hemispheres and Moving Pictures are not far behind and i love a sprawling epic as much as any prog head but I find the later albums a progression over earlier stuff.People who can't move past Moving Pictures or Zep lV annoy me.
