Release announced for this Saturday, 8th Feb

Great, then I’ll be looking forward to the more reasonably priced Eelgrass release....and the subsequent fan merge of the boards from the 28th and 29th (for which I’ll be very grateful). Bummer that we still won’t have Whole Lotta Love in SBD quality. Still, we must be very grateful for what we get.

Here is the email I got back from the uploader:

I replied back to him saying that I understand and respect his wishes, and that if he changes his mind, let me know, and I can hopefully hook him up with someone who could help.

Well done mate. You’ve done the right thing. Hopefully some of the entitled dickheads on this forum won’t give him a hard time and pressure him.

Got hold of the 10.1.98 Lakefront Arena, New Orleans show recently. This show has unbelievable energy and incredible performances by both P and P, and the whole band. Just wondering if anyone has FLACs for this and might be kind enough to share? I have a Youtube rip right now and would love an upgrade though can't find one anywhere online.  Even MP3s at 320 kbps would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If anyone has this without the annoying DJ that would also be great

Looks like I got one! Got the invoice, paid for the set and have a tracking number!

I'm really excited about receiving it. Pretty sure it's going to be on constant play when it arrives.

I ordered one a week ago. Not got it yet. Can’t wait!

I succumbed, I simply could not resist this cheapo Soundboard Live Anthology  ....and it' s very nice 😎.

Thinking of this, a companion release -compiling the better quality Zep Audience tapes in a neat square EV box also would be a delight

1970 (Montreux, Tampa, L.A, N.Y ), 1971 (Copenhagen, Berkley, Tokyo, Ipswitch), 1972/73 combo (Tokyo, Osaka, London-Alexandra Palace, Offenburg, L.A ???) 1975 (best of Mike Millard), 1977 (best of Mike Millard), 1979 (best of the Copenhagen warm ups).

     "Resolution is Rhyming" ...anyone?

Yeah mate, me too. Just ordered it.

  6. Anyone ordered yet and have an ETA on their delivery? I’m seriously thinking of getting one. Or maybe I’ll wait for the Eelgrass version. Don’t know. I’m not exactly flush after two kids birthdays in December, plus my birthday and Christmas on top.

The link below is to a list of the CDs that are considered to be the best version of each show by the person who created the list, BootLedZ. He has a ton of experience listening to shows and also compares and contrasts them on his site, so he's in a good position to suggest which version of a given show is the one to look for:

    Hi Steve,

    Just visited this website.

8/31/1971 SB Empress Valley Florida Sunshine (reissue) 2

Anybody have this? I've not heard it, and i'd sure appreciate a link.....Cheers all.

My current go to is 'You Really Got Me'. Is the above version better?

Sure, but the question is, who is "they"?  The source surely has the complete shows, but I doubt EV does.  I'm skeptical we'll see the rest of these shows.  I'm actually more disappointed about TY and CB being left off 9-29 than WLL, to be honest.  Still, it's an exciting release, it's been a great year for live Zeppelin!

Yep, it’s been a great year. I’m interested, why are you skeptical they will be released? Surely this just follows the model so far for the release of 29/9/71 I.e drip feeding the fans the songs in chunks or individually? Also, whoever does have boards....when there is money to be made........

Bummer that it doesn't contain Whole Lotta Love, but it'll be cool to hear Celebration Day and the unique acoustic set, not to mention the Please Please Me/From Me to You tease in soundboard quality.

Coincidence that both soundboard releases have not included the Whole Lotta Love Medley? No way! They have it up their sleeve for a future release I reckon. I’m stoked that we’re getting a full acoustic set. Plus Friends from the 29th. That’s great! So excited

Give me a break with the merch...where's the music?? How the East Was Won (Japan 71), Bath 70, Montreux 70, Earl's Court Compilation, alternate tracks from MSG 73, Copenhagen 79 (board tapes might exsist) , a standalone RAH 70 audio release.  Video, audio, something, anything, for Chrissakes?!!!

Could not agree more. It’s a joke

I would gladly dole out at least $25 grand for that case, if it were at an auction.... for charity..... after borrowing the money from the leprechaun that lives down my road, under the bridge.... shhhhh. Lol.

Honestly I have no idea, but I am curious to know what something like that would be worth to a collector. Maybe someone who's an expert will read this posting.

What a fantastic story. Great job Jeff. Kudos to you sir.

As for the member jousting names,  "chump", at him, that's uncalled for, rude, childish and possibly correlated with your own subconscious mind, displacing the true inner feelings you have about yourself and casting them onto what appears to everyone else, a fantastic guy!

Keep negativity and insults to yourself and those of your own ilk. There's no room for that here on this forum in any capacity. Spew the negativity somewhere else on some other site for negative immature people. If you have nothing positive to say, don't say anything. Simple.

I'm Johnnycanasoda, this is my first post. Great to be amongst you fine people sharing the love of Zeppelin.

    Welcome aboard mate

I did film Manchester '98. The complete show. I thought I had provided two or three 1st gen copies to established collectors at the time. If it still isn't circulating I can release another batch sometime in 2020. Digital upload perhaps.

Sounds good Steve, I’d love that

I'm not hoarding any Led Zeppelin recordings, but I do have some Led Zeppelin solo era recordings that remain unreleased. I'm not necessarily hoarding them, it's really just a question of when and if I'll ever find the time to locate and release them.

I do have some exceptional non-Led Zeppelin related recordings that I am purposefully hoarding for two reasons. The first is that I am using them for leverage to try to compel a label to do an official live release and the second is to use them for leverage to arrange a meeting with the artist involved. I would be willing to drop my campaign for an official release in exchange for the opportunity to place my own personal recordings directly into the hands of the artist I recorded.

Whenever you get round to releasing Page and Plant from Manchester ‘98 please let me know Steve

If the release is the 9/28/71 soundboard here's hoping that Celebration  Day is included.  And not to be too greedy but how about C'mon Everybody and High Heel Sneakers too.

I reckon they might be pretty much the same songs as those released for the 29th....as it will likely mean that the demand will stay high for the remainders of both the 28th and 29th.

But here’s hoping we do get a bit of variety in the track listing.

My guess is the partial Osaka board from last year and this one (Black Dog was leaked, what, three years ago?) are coming from inside the Zep camp.

Jimmy did say live material would be coming out for the 50th!
