  1. Didn't watch any of the game last night, but I did catch a glimpse of the pre-show and saw Patricia Rose - aka Pete Rose. Was A-Roid up there too? If that's the case, that's two people who have damaged the game more than just about any other two guys in MLB history. Another great job by FOX...
  2. Wild finish at Talladega today to say the least. Unofficially Earnhardt Jr, Hamlin, Kenseth and last year's runner up Newman are all out. Advancing to the next round of 3 are Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, defending champion Kevin Harvick and in his final season Jeff Gordon.
  3. Baseball is still going on?
  4. Btw, GREAT JOB Cowboys! You did just enough to take a loss out of the jaws of victory! Ridiculous!
  5. How did I put you in a foul mood? Don't give me control over your life!?!
  6. Paul, just after Christmas - in Buffalo
  7. Miller is having a MONSTER game for Miami. 41-0 at the half. Lots of crazy, unexpected scores!
  8. Have them lose both their qb and Antonio Brown for 6-8 weeks and then I'll take note...
  9. Paul, I'm sure it was all the refs fault!
  10. Not I. Last time I checked the Bills were up 3-0. Played Robert Woods in 2 leagues with all their injuries in the wr department.
  11. 15 years ago...Dale Earnhardt's last win ever, at Talladega. He came from 25th to first in 5 laps, winning a one million dollar bonus on top of winning the race. If you have 5 minutes to spare, you should check out "The Intimidator" in the black and white 3 car take everyone to school at the ripe age of 49 - five months before his untimely passing.
  12. Truthfully, whom ever picks the WS winner, from the start, should... Congrats to whoever wins!
  13. Relax, Paul. I appreciate you putting it together, I just misinterpreted the rules. I thought point would be like a bracket format, you get credit for picking a team to advance. I didn't mean to sound like I was criticizing, I just read into it differently. Thank you again for putting this and MLB contest together!
  14. See, you know what's going on in F1. That makes perfect sense! Thank you for the info. Hope you're doing well, marlam! What was Kimi's penalty for the wreck last race? I thought it was just good, hard racing for a podium position.
  15. Lots of rain in Austin, Texas - making a mess of the U.S. Grand Prix weekend. Hamilton can wrap up the title with a win and Vettel finishing in 3rd. Crazy finish in Russia, marlam! Glad for Perez though - he is an untapped talent, IMO. I heard Haas F1 is going to announce their 2nd driver in the next few weeks and that he is a Mexican driver - could Perez be heading over there for the team's inaugural season? NASCAR is at Talladega this week and it's an elimination week in The Chase. The championship contenders will be pared down from 12 to 8. Logano is the only driver guaranteed to advance. Harvick is only 7 points to the good. This is a restrictor plate track (similar to Daytona) so any wreck can take out a large number of cars - coined "The Big One". Will be on pins and needles throughout the 188 lap contest...
  16. Seattle - win Buffalo Washington Atlanta Indianapolis Minnesota Pittsburgh St. Louis Miami New England San Diego Dallas Carolina Arizona
  17. Agreed! Plus it's all Waters and not Floyd, correct?
  18. Yeah, that crane wouldn't be too much of a lightening rod later or anything... That stage seems so primitive, even for the 70's! Thanks for posting those, Sam!
  19. The were a lot of them! Guys that were solid players coming together to be apart of something magical! They didn't "buy"that team in 96. They traded smart and grew their farm system. Hope that's the way they're heading in the future. Big contracts never pay out on the field.
  20. True about Tino making us Yankees fans forget about Donnie Baseball not being a Yankee anymore. He was basically all we had for a while there in the late 80's/early 90's... I wasn't referring to your manager statement.
  21. The original is in Tampa, I believe.
  22. Shit, every city in Florida smells like piss. It's second only to orange blossoms! Jacksonville smells like paper mills and sulfur water mixed together...yuck!
