  1. Very nice. Hope you have a terrific 1st holiday season with him!
  2. Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Oakland should've been a "freebie" last December and look how that turned out for you.
  3. Nice win for your niners, redrum! Jets win in OT! Nice comeback. I read where Chip Kelly has never lost 4 games in a row in his coaching history. Today he meets Tom Brady... 0-0 so far.
  4. Battle for New York in overtime....in New Jersey - 20-20.
  5. Oh man, Houston just tied it up on a catch by Hopkins that looked an offensive pass interference....I think I can hear Rick screaming all the way down here!
  6. Seattles defense has once again come to play in a big game in December - 21-0 'hawks.
  7. The Minnesota/Seattle game is a great one thus far!
  8. The game was played at Georgetown, Rick. Edit: Oops didnt see the replies already. Glad you still had a good day, ebk. I've been on a bad run lately with my sports teams!

  10. Jets Arizona Atlanta Carolina Minnesota Buffalo Miami Cincinnati Tennessee Chicago Denver Kansas City New England Pittsburgh Washington
  11. Went to a number of SU/Georgetown games when I was growing up near Syracuse. The 'cuse need to rebound better if they want to beat the dreaded Hoyas! Lets go Orange!
  12. Thank you for posting that zepscoda. We are feeling the same as you are. That's such an emotional picture. Such a shame, such a loss.
  13. We've been pretty torn up since hearing the news about his passing yesterday morning. We've seen Scott perform more than any other artist, over 15, starting with STP's first tour in a small club. One night, on their Tiny Music...tour, after Scott's first incarceration, we were in the 4th row center and it seemed like he sang to the two of us all night long - lots of eye contact. We spent a glorious New Years Eve with him witnessing an almost 3 hour STP set back in 2000. Caught Velvet Revolver 4 different times, the second at a very small venue for a charity benefit. Tried to see him on the STP reunion tour in 2008, but they cancelled after the two opening bands played saying Scott couldn't get out of Miami "due to the weather". Every time we saw him from the Tiny Music show onward we would always say, "at least we got to see him one more time before the inevitable happens". So that brings us to this past March. We took a chance to see him and his solo band at an extremely small club in downtown. It was a pleasant surprise. Loved his new material and he looked and sounded better than we thought he would. Sadly it was that final time that we knew would ever see him live. So sad for his kids, his parents, his former bandmates who did love him but just couldn't work with him any longer, his fans and most of all for Scott himself. Here are some pictures from this past March. RIP Scott Weiland.
  14. Thank you! I hope you have a good holiday season and a prosporous 2016!
  15. The Song Remains The Same - Shepperton Studios - 12/6/07 What an EPIC song this is!
  16. Sitting by the Christmas tree, listening to the Zep Shepperton Studios rehearsal DVD, with a couple of Kraken shots. The pictures don't do the tree justice, it is beautiful! The other picture is Walter Jr's footprint from when he was a baby. Our favorite ornament to put on each year.
  17. Trampled Under Foot - Shepperton Studios - 12/6/07 love this version!
  18. very cool that you are getting into the live stuff! As was said in the Millard thread - you have to get all of his recordings, they are essential! No Quarter 75 is probably my favorite year and the show Deb posted is a very good one! Check out 5/24/75 form Earls Court for possibly the BEST version ever! Welcome to the forum!
  19. screw it, maybe it's the Kraken talking but I'm taking Detroit. Mrs. Walter - Green Bay
  20. I agree Patrycja, I too wished they had played a cut from ITTOD and also Robert's voice really fit the Presence/ITTOD songs at that point. He was really spot on in the two versions of For Your Life we have, IMO. Since that anniversary of the gig is fast approaching, I will be checking out both the rehearsal and 02 shows very soon!
  21. Looks like winter is finally creeping into Central Florida. High of 71 expected today.
  22. Anybody hear any updates about the possible reunion? SAJ?
  23. Yes, that was discussed here years ago - but nobody can confirm, other than from memory. Didn't the Paris radio broadcast just surface a handful of years ago?
  24. I thought the same thing when reading the cover of the third leg. Plus I was wondering how much they actually rehearsed during those three days - since it's widely known they shipped everything over before postponing the start of the tour.
  25. I know, tom kid, you always have '77 on your mind!
