  1. The Spinal Tap Stonehenge 🤌🤌🤌
  2. Listening to EC 18th May and that NQ has not yet ignited me... strange. The 24th one got me right away when I heard it the first time. To make clear, not the first time I am plowing through the show.
  3. True but it was on the menu 1970 in UK and Europe.
  4. Holy zombie thread revival! I think both Leicester and Ipswich are pretty good tapes. Just listening to Leicester (the zep boots version) and once my ears get used to it, which usually takes a song or two, it is brilliant. The show builds up nicely towards the end. Have been wondering here why Moby Dick was dropped from the setlist in this tour.
  5. Warming up. -16 C. 10 km run to be a bit outdoorsy. Damn Covid aftermath keeping my heart rate still too high. Damn you, Randy Marsh!
  6. Sounds like the audience tape cleaned up very nicely! Three more hours to do 😅
  7. Nice! I know which 77 I am gonna listen to while I change the oil in my Beta.
  8. This is something else, isn’t it? Yeah, keep one cam always on Bonzo.
  9. Got through it… yeah, Europe 73 style precision here. The show is cooking! As for the for Stairway solo. Neat and precise and the low notes he found a nice touch. I am an oddball? If I was to pick a STH solo I’d pick 21.3.75. I just love the structure. I go regurarly back to 70-73 LZ (sometimes 69) and I am gobsmacked by Page’s execution but my go to shows are from 77 😂 It’s a weird year and cannot but my finger on what it is that ticks. It’s just so bloody huge and the songs and the way they play them. Anyway, Ally Pally was a good tip from this thread. 🤌🤌🤌
  10. Listened to TSRTS, IS, HB and part of the TY solo. Sounded very strong. Gotta go through the whole show at some point. A bit of a black hole these 72 UK dates for me.
  11. Nice. I have made myself an Excel list of shows with the label and title. Silver’s are nice (have 60 or so) but we wait for the moment when you start to go through Zep Boots/ Northbridge catalogue and make your own hard copies. Btw. Is the Jon Wizardo 23.6.1977 already on some cheap label. Not that I need it but one for your list. An absolute gem!
  12. Kutabare moonchild is a good one for 929, except for the WLL medley, but that is not the label’s fault. An audience source should be used for that. Bootledz is almost a bottomless pit of information. Have a nice ride down the rabbit hole!
  13. What’s the score for 75 including EC in this thread at the moment? 12.3. 19.3. ?
  14. Soberish Page from 1980 Compare to two days after 👀
  15. Listening to the shows from 1980 tells that the band was on its last legs. Disjointed and tormented by addictions, magick gone. It ran its course. GOAT of Rock and Roll.
  16. Thanks For Eleven Years. The best version of 4.8.79 I’ve heard this far.
  17. Sydney 72. The piece of Rover during WLL was probably the longest they ever played it?
