  1. Evidently she's under the mistaken impression that the graph is based upon actual statistics and completely failed to get the humorous aspect of it (thus, why I posted it in this thread). I've tried explaining once before but it was apparently to no avail.

    Eeeesh.

    Lighten up, Francis.

    Lulz.

Now, any of you *homos* touch me, and I'll kill you. :hysterical:

  2. The graph is making light of some people's perception of gay marriage. Lighten up, Francis.

    Am I missing something???

    What is she on about?

What does the graph you posted have to do with what she posted?

  4. For a movie like Rise of the Planet of the Apes, or Avatar, I want to pay to see the full 3D experience.

For other movies that look interesting, but have no special effects, I wait an extra couple months and see it at the $1.99 theater.

For still others that merely look interesting, I usually notice that it's on OnDemand and check it out.

True, I saw The Hangover Part II on opening weekend, but that was one movie I was rabidly awaiting.

Obama was wrong, this is a great movie. I knew next to nothing about it prior to renting it. If I knew anything more of the plot beforehand I'm not so sure I would have enjoyed it so much. It starts out like a typical political story but then takes a huge detour that kept me captivated until the end.

I became interested in this from the original previews, which looked kinda sci-fi/action.

I still enjoyed it when I learned it wasn't exactly that.

  6. Say Son. How's the pic hangin'? :)

    We just watched 'Napoleon Dynamite'

How come the hell I never heard of this movie? It has to now be one of my fave comedy's of all time. I now know where the Vern Fonk commercial parody comes from.

I caught you a delicious bass.

Women's Toilets at Rush Concerts Are the World's Loneliest Place, Says Blogger

    Peter Hartlaub

    by Matt Glazebrook

Ladies, let us ask you a question. Do you like you drum solos? Do you like really long drum solos played on a comically expansive kit? Do you like songs with titles like '2112: Overture/The Temples of Syrinx' and lyrics such as "Stealthily attacking/By-Tor slays his foe/The men are free to run now/From labyrinths below"? Do you like 15-minute-long prog-rock instrumentals played by middle-aged Canadians?

No? Then let us ask you this: Do you like really clean toilets with no queues at all? Because if you do, we may have a new music recommendation for you.

Rush completed their umpteenth world tour this week, and in doing so provided evidence that there is no band more male-friendly -- and, conversely, more conducive to speedy and hassle-free female washroom usage -- than the authors of 'Cygnus X-1 Book I: The Voyage.'

San Francisco blogger Peter Hartlaub attended the trio's show in Concord, Calif., and took a photo of the respective facilities prior to the encore. The gents' loos apparently had a three-abreast line snaking out of the door, and the ladies restroom was almost eerily empty.

The snapper called his pic "proof that there's no place on the planet lonelier than the women's bathroom at a Rush concert," although we suppose there is a possibility that all the group's female fans had made to sure to relieve themselves pre-gig and were down the front, eager to catch every moment of 'Xanadu.' He's promised to reverse the process soon, taking a pic of a no-doubt under-utilised men's room at a forthcoming Tori Amos gig.

    lulz

    It's funny 'cause it's true!

Seriously, I saw quite a few hotties at the last 3 Rush shows I attended (Snakes and Arrows, both legs; Time Machine, first leg), but yeah, that's actually pretty accurate.

  9. Don't know if anyone has seen these videos, but they are hilarious.

Basically a Christian TV broadcast that reads emails and text messages live on the air.

Of course, internet nation recognizes an opportunity and takes advantage.

A combination of Rick Rolls and Fresh Princes.

    Rick Roll'd

    Fresh Prince'd and Star Wars

    Fresh Prince'd

The last one is hilarious how she gets so bombarded with pranks.

She makes the mistake of challenging the pranksters that she can delete the emails faster than they can send them.

    BIG mistake.

  10. Congrats on your 16th anniversary. We are planning taking my 7 year old and some friends to Cars 2 next week. Just hope it is shorter than the first one!

    Thanks, muh man.

    We had a great time.

With 3 kids, it's tough to find "grown-up" time to enjoy.
