Yes, great show but I felt a bit "uneasy" seeing Chalky White bugger that Puerto Rican dude and hanging out at underground gay bars. Not that there is anything wrong with that, hey, 31 flavors right? But Chalky White? That would be like finding out Clint Eastwood dresses up in drag at home while singing I Feel Pretty in front of a mirror ala Buffalo Bill.

Yeah, me too, was not expecting that, the metamorphosis scenes too left me a little queasy. [and] That heel scene, ouch.

Thought about the same couple of weeks ago. With the current evolution of technologies and soft very likely computer will be able to recreate +/- normal (=soundboard) sound of audience tapes using studio and other live recording as a basis.

Bath is beyond hope,  the technology to fix it will likely never exist, it's way too bad. Shame really, it's a nice show.

    Hi folks,

I have recently started to collect some Zeppelin bootleg CD's and I am hoping for some recommendations to fill some of the gaps as follows:

    1. Like many here, I have the 2003 DVD which of course features the Royal Albert Hall concert from 1970 but does not feature the Long Tall Sally encore. I know there's an absolute plethora of CD releases of this show, so I'd like to buy one which not only includes Long Tall Sally but also includes the band introduction as they take the stage. Sound quality is important of course, although I would imagine most CD titles of this show have excellent sound.

    2. I'd like to buy another CD of another 1970 performance, preferably a full show in decent sound quality and also from the earlier part of 1970 with We're Gonna Groove as the opener. Decent boots from 1970 seem to be thin on the ground- is Royal Albert Hall the only soundboard show from 1970 available? If so, I would gladly buy a good audience recording of a full show.

    3. I'd like to buy a CD of a full show from the 1973 European Tour- what do people suggest as the 'go to' here? I know this tour is extremely highly regarded by Zeppelin fans.

Where possible I would try to buy full shows, either SB or very good/excellent audience recordings. It's nice to get releases which have nice packaging but it's not necessarily the most important thing to me. I know I've included a lot of info here so I would be very grateful for even one recommendation from anyone kind enough to share their knowledge. Thanks in advance.

Get yourself a Dime account, fill yer boots for free. Btw, Albert Hall is a multi track, not a soundboard.

Very sad and tragic situation that is happening on the West Coast, all because of carelessness and selfishness.

Don't forget stupidity, the firework at a "Baby gender reveal"  party.

No, not unless you have the same source downloaded copy of this documentary that I have. Apparently the O.P. and I have different sourced copies, thus his has a Jimmy Page solo track playing after A.L.S. and mine doesn't. But the main point I was trying to make was that the documentary officially ends with the song Achilles Last Stand and anything played afterwards is not part of the documentary but just what the radio station that aired the documentary decided to play afterwards. Though I would like to know what Jimmy Page solo track the O.P. was referring to. I'm sure both copies are out there online somewhere to be downloaded. Called "The Mighty Arms of Atlas: The Power Of Led Zeppelin."

Have you tried  "Hey Google/Alexa, what's this tune called.

This is one of my first posts here so go easy on me hahahha...

My version of LZII that I bought on cassette in 1974 has this running order..

    A1 Whole Lotta Love

    A2 Moby Dick

    A3 Killing Floor

    A4 Heartbreaker

B1 What Is And What Should Never Be

    B2 Thank You

B3 Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's Just A Woman)

B4 Ramble On B5 Bring It On Home

when I got the cd years later it just sounded wrong ! I sequence it this way now as my brain needs this order....

I had one of those, I got to prefer it to the LP version. The first album also has a different running order on some cassette releases.

A1 Your Time Is Gonna Come
A2 Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
    A3 Black Mountain Side
    A4 Dazed And Confused
    B1 Good Times Bad Times
    B2 You Shook Me
    B3 Communication Breakdown
    B4 I Can't Quit You Baby
    B5

    How Many More Times

If I remember correctly HMMT was shortened.

  7. I've heard it all now, California is on fire again, this time caused by a firework from a  "Baby Gender Reveal" party, unfunkinbelievable, I know the world is mad but this. Seven thousand acres destroyed and three thousand people evacuated, Whoever lit the fuse should be made to pay for the damage/inconvenience.

  8. I get the annual Flu Shot, have done for the past three years. It was recommended to me because of a script med (Methotrexate) I was taking that supposedly lowered the immune system putting me at risk of contracting a virus. Fortunately I no longer take it, good job really with the Covid situation. The Flu jab itself, just a quick jab and done, no side effects at all. Not sure If I will be offered a Flu Jab this year, I'll have it if I'm offered, it's free so why not.

Myles Kennedy is the lead singer & also an excellent guitarist of Alterbridge (Jason recommended him). He also is a singer / songwriter who released the excellent solo album 2 years ago called, Year of The Tiger (about his dad’s passing). I saw him on that solo tour in Atlanta at the City Winery. He is an Amazing live performer. He was first known for his cameo as “Thor” in the early 2000s Rock Star movie (singing, “Stand Up & Shout” from the crowd and then discovered by Mark Walberg).

    R😎

But he's not a Brit, only a Brit would do. Imagine the swell on the head of whomever for something that's never (and never was) going to happen anyway, I imagine they would toot a line of Charlie so long to celebrate their heads would explode.
