Referring to Strider's post of a fake TMOQ Blueberry Hill reel to reel.

Ok, cheers. I always thought the TMOQ was the second source. Back when I bought it 1973  I can only remember there being the TMOQ on coloured vinyl and another that was on black vinyl, the label I can't recall, though I had them both, the TMOQ was stereo the other was mono.

That is the third source for Blueberry Hill, which is not the source released on TMOQ Blueberry Hill. The third source was used for the acoustic bonus tracks on Three Days After. The tape sources that exist of the TMOQ source (such as the one used for the Neutral Zone boot) are in the same order as the vinyl and have the same edits.

What is, who are you quoting ?

As a bit of an aside, does anybody know what the hell's the story behind these "uncirculated" Yardbirds tapes that have popped up here, there and everywhere since yesterday?😀 I grabbed 'em, haven't listened to them yet...

Other than what is in the info on Dime/TTD, nope, in the dark as much as you. Maybe what's there is all there is to know.

But wait, things are about to get worse. Have you seen the new E-Bikes? I live in a mountain town where biking is everywhere but now we have the damned E-Bikes which are bikes with electric motors and allow the bike to move up to 35 mph on level ground. Problem is, the majority of the people driving these are jackasses. Had one weaving in and out of the bike lane, into the regular lane, back and forth, no one would pass him as they were afraid of hitting him. So we get up to a light (I said screw it, I passed him) and here comes Mr. Jackass between the cars and just blows through the red light almost hitting a pedestrian in the crosswalk and almost getting nailed by a car.

I guess there are a lot of people with death wishes out there.

There are a few of those things around where I live,  One really has to look out for them particularly at junctions, here comes a pushbike, I have time to pull out, no wait it's an e-bike, a quick glance will no longer do. There was one woman I would see regularly taking my wife to work speeding along without a care in the world, one winters day on my way home I could see in the distance she's  lying at the side of the road bike a little away from her, must have skidded on black ice (I didn't stop, somebody was there phone to ear presumably calling an ambo), she is now back to riding a normal pushbike. Dangerous things, my wife considered buying one once, I talked her out of it.

My apologies...you are correct.  The Spandex Nazi's using pedal power.

Yeah, Lycra louts as I call them, they are the worst, heads down, I'm coming fuck everyone else, usually doing 30mph plus. I don't mind the sedate riders who ride safely and considerately. But those louts I wish them ill, have no sympathy when they have an accident "Serves you right prick".

Bikers in general - even though I commute by bike to work everyday -  that have headphones on, no hands on the handlebars and cruise right through intersections without even slowing down.  Gee, what could possibly go wrong?

Bikers ? You mean cyclists surely.

eeemmmm interesting. Doobie of course or a number. Hate the word Spliff. Joint is perfectly acceptable. Whichever we use, I will be having one with a cold one after my shower. Still too hot outside

I'm jealous (slightly), I ran out last night, "Waiting on the Man". Got the Nicorette spray out to stem the nicotine craving, f'ked if I'm rolling a straight.

Thankfully we live in an old stone cottage . We have Plantation shutters and I forgot to close them and the window in our bedroom yesterday. It was like a kiln last night. Fortunately all closed today and the bedroom is as cool as a salad vegetable. Just been out in the garden and was thinking of mowing the lawn. No chance. A south facing garden is no joy in this heat. Gonna make a hot and spicy Butter Chicken for dinner. Coupled with a cold beer , a fat bifta of Blue Cheese, I could be in India.:veryhot:

My  house, a 1980 built Wimpey box has a  North Westerly facing front living room so in hot weather it can be fairly cool and comfortable. Interesting that you use the term "Bifta", around these parts a "Bifta" is a normal cigarette. Joint, Spliff maybe Doobie is what you'll here up here.

The current site owner recently got access/full control of the site - so it's not clear why it has disappeared.

I really hope it hasn't gone for good, even without the tracker, which went down more or less when Jason passed, it has often more informative than here.

I was not trying to compare one to the other, I was only pointing out Quatro was the first, not the best but the first and indeed Smith and all the other women I mentioned themselves listed Quatro as a main influence.

You did, yes. I am though shocked that Patti Smith would cite Suzi Quatro as an influence, "Can the Can",  c'mon now...
